Both teams really low error. Will come down to who runs transition better. A&M is really good at finding the middles in transition. Mizzou is better blocking. Key will be Mizzou scoring points on first ball as the longer the rallies go, the more it favors A&M due to their play in transition.

Big SEC match-up, with lots on the line. For A&M will determine whether they win SEC title outright, or share with Mizzou Winner will probably get SEC coach of the year. Win for Mizzou gets them 1st/2nd round home games.
A&M swept Mizzou at College station (each set won by 2 points). Mizzou undefeated at home.
Predictions?
I'll say 3-2 Mizzou. Both end up co-champs with weekend results. A&M gets AQ.
If you can.....put the link to the online match (SEC+), and link to the pre-match notes for people interested in following so it is on the first post.
TAMU is on a great roll and seamed to have peaked at the right time. These last 12 matches they have played just well enough on the road to win some tough matches. I picked against them in PTW several times and got burned. If they continue to play great floor defense and have a balanced attack they will win. TAMU did a great job shutting down Kahn (.143) the first meeting and she needs to find the seams this match. Missouri will probably have a big crowd on hand to support their effort. I also see a hard fought 3-2 win, but think TAMU comes out on top.

Kan has been very erratic in SEC play (she's only .209 in SEC), even within a match, she will go a set or 2 with 1 or 2 kills and negative kill pct, and then she will rattle off 6 of 7 points, 3 from the back row... and its 25-16 MU. She truly is the key to the match for MU. Setting goes to TAMU of course, blocking goes to MU, I'd say defensively about equal. Babers will have a big game no matter what [Babers named AVCA POTW]. So neutralizing Kan, without letting Larson go wild will be the key to an A&M win. Typically Hearnes would pack in 6-7K on a Friday or Sunday for a match this big, but the day before black Thursday...? No students will be there, that's for sure.

IIRC Aggies didn't blocked very well in that match. Shut down Kan but Larson had a solid match as well as Freshman Munlyn.
To me this match is going to be a battle, I think just watching this team for past month and half they are determined to win. Will need Reasor on the right side to match Munlyn stats from the right. If Hardesty cannot get swings then Blake maybe a sub but I would wait one full rotation to make this decision for three main reasons.
1. Hardesty is not a heavy ball swinger but any means but can find the holes. 2. Hardesty doesn't make hitting errors out of system as much as Blake or Mcgee for that matter 3. It saves a late sub entry to let her play one full rotation around before making decision to go with Blake like they did against Florida. Gives us the ability to get Litwin on back row for McGee one extra time if we are running out of subs which as end of match is critical in side out play
Wish I could see this match... hate to miss this one. Will be following stats on the road

Total BS that the match being televised on SEC Network is the Ole Miss vs. Alabama and on ESPNU is Tennessee at Auburn when this match is for the SEC Championship. SEC should have done a quick shuffle to make sure this was the match shown and generate more viewers.

Total agreement here...travesty that the SEC network doesn't wait on last two weeks of season to put the big matchups on TV. If you are trying to get all schools on the network regardless of standings I completely understand but get it done before the final 3-4 matches and put matches on that mean something actually will be driving for Thanksgiving during match...would stop and eat somewhere if this match could be on a TV somewhere

Tennessee was scheduled 4 times, while UF and Mizzou had 1 apiece, A&M had 2, and UK had NONE. Even if they put it on the SEC Network instead of Ole Miss and 'Bama, that would have been better. They've both been on SECN plenty. Bad call. This game shouldn't be relegated to the 'net.
But, remember, just like the Selection show (which will be aired sometime well after 9:00 pm) , if this game were on one of the Networks, a pre-season exhibition, double overtime BB game would have made you miss the first 2 sets.

Texas A&M. They're simply playing like they want to win. They've been a better "team" than anyone else this season and are playing with lots of energy, focus, and purpose.
A&M wins 3-1.

If A&M wins the SEC, will they still be sent to Austin subregional?

No way. Will host regardless of what happens this week/tonight. Of course they will host their own subregional. I think pk meant the Austin regional. No doubt they will be slotted there if they win tonight, and even if they do not. volleytalk.proboards.com/post/1388329
