I think BTN will only cover it if Wisconsin wins against Oregon. Not sure if there is a backup plan. Any other B1G teams playing at the same time?

But will it be available to us in Indiana? Will there be a live stream? If your cable package includes LHN, then you can also stream it via ESPN3.com. Otherwise, you are out of luck. Seriously ? That is just mean! There should be a requirement that if you are going to host, there should be a live feed available.

There should be a requirement that if you are going to host, there should be a live feed available. There was such a requirement, a few years ago. But even then Hawaii violated it because of a pre-existing cable TV contract. Then everybody else started getting cable TV packages, and the NCAA quietly took back the rule that said free streaming video must be broadcast.

TV Coverage: When I picked up tickets today, I was told the Friday match time was moved from 7 to 8 p.m. CT. "Why?" "Because BTN is going to carry the match." This evening I got UW e-mail notice of the time change, but no mention at all of the reason. BTN now lists 9 p.m. ET on Friday as "TBD vs. TBD" Apparently Badgers better win Thursday if they want to be on the air on Friday! Um ... yeah. Isn't that a given? Because if they don't win Thurs, they won't be playing Fri, TV or no TV.

This time of year it really sucks to have the team you follow be on the road. All these locked down TV contracts; all these schools that won't show the match that doesn't include the home team. The tournament belongs to the NCAA and they could stop all that if anybody there gave a damn about volleyball fans. The NCAA could mandate free streaming, with announcers, and the hosts would have to do it or risk not being hosts. But NCAA HQ doesn't want to annoy BTN, LHN, PAC-12N, Oceanic Cable, etc. The fans of the visiting team are a lot less important to the NCAA than cable TV money.

Texas-Wisconsin 2013: Don't forget A-M Hickey, who wouldn't let balls hit the floor...and dislocated her shoulder in the final. Badgers don't have her this year. No, but Morey is pretty darn good. AA last year

Actually Morey contributed as much as Hickey to the defense in 2013, when she was on the floor.

I meant general BTN coverage of volleyball on Friday would not happen, but that is wrong too because if Purdue wins tomorrow, the second round match (w/Texas?) could be broadcast then, too. The first round matches Friday involving B1G schools (Neb, PSU, MSU, OSU & Mich) are all scheduled earlier than a 8 p.m. CT start.

As a Texas super fan, I pray they have one of the best matches of the season.....AGAINST PURDUE because they will need it. That one tough 2nd round match up. I feel Wisconsin will breeze to Austin, they look great end of season, I'm not to worried about Florida because even though they did get the road win early in the season it was very very close and I think Texas would win it this time around, I'm nervous about Purdue and Wisconsin. UCLA is a great floor defensive team but they won't beat out Texas. I feel this will be a fight between the Horns and the Badgers. 2 undersized OH's that can bang going head to head, I'd love it!! May the best team win! Wish all teams good health and the best play!

They aren't guaranteed a win against SMU on a neutral site either. Florida knows what it takes to beat Texas as they have done it twice in a row in Austin. We have not been able to block Recek and Snyder on the outside very well. And, Florida's 3-1 win recently was with Holston having an awful match. Obviously, Wisconsin is the favorite to beat Florida, and as much as I'd like both to lose in their sub-regionals, their matchup in the regional semi-finals will be one I look forward to watching in person.

I hope you are correct Southie, I've always like your posts and knowledge! I would just like to see Texas play at their best in this regional and see where they end up is all. Same for the others. Can't wait for tonight and tomorrow! HOOK EM!

UCLA is a great floor defensive team but they won't beat out Texas. I hope UCLA proves you wrong. Cool! Hey if MICHIGAN doesn't bounce UCLA (which there is a likely chance that can happen) maybe Sealy will put up his horns again when a call doesn't go his way when he arrives in to Gregory. Nice!
