Oregon is a dangerous opponent. I think Wisconsin will win but couldn't the Committee have given Wisconsin an easier first round opponent?

Excited to see who makes it to the second weekend. UCLA and Florida seem to get sent to Austin a lot for NCAA tourney play.

Where is c4andle? He has to be ecstatic and bummed! LOL My most pressing thought is: we have an administrator on the Committee for this?!?!

If UCLA plays like they did against Arizona a week ago, will they have trouble with Lipscomb???

If UCLA plays like they did against Arizona a week ago, will they have trouble with Lipscomb??? Or if they play like they did against Stanford and USC they will win this regional.

I was at the game against USC. If they play like that, they will win the regional!!!
I think it is a disgrace that UCLA is playing NCAA TOURNAMENT GAMES at the Wooden Center instead of Pauley Pavilion. USC moved a women's basketball game to the Lyon Center to accomodate their NCAA Tournament volleyball game playing at the Galen Center on Friday. Show some respect to the volleyball team and the sport for goodness sakes.

It is my understanding that you must be able to accommodate 2,000 or more in order to host and we know that you can't get that many into the JWC, listed capacity closer to 1,500. Calls are into the Department to get clarification as there are no conflicts with Men's hoops (they play 12/3 and 12/6, and a solvable one for the Women's hoops game on Saturday 12/5 which is scheduled for 2:00 pm, well in front of the 7:00 pm scheduled go time of the Saturday evening volleyball match. It is a head scratcher.

I think it's the perfect opportunity for Oregon. They had to go through some brutal sick "game" of playing as many road games in as many different cities in as few days as possible. They've played the best teams in the PAC. Battle-tested team.
Still, Wisconsin is such a tall taak for a first round game! Jeez! But Oregon should still be grateful just to be IN the tournament.

I keep looking at this sub-regional and it is stacked with good teams.
Does anyone have Pablo for any of these teams playing Texas at home is any team in the country a favorite over Texas at Austin?
Wisconsin got the toughest first round opponent in the country for seeded teams but gosh looking at Texas's side its an injustice what happened to them with UCLA playing as good as they have been to finish the season.

Y'all keep on underestimating us. Six FFs in 7 yrs, haven't missed a Regional Final in 10 years. yeah but this is also the toughest draw in a while for Texas

I'm worried about all of it...but that's because I'm not playing and have no control of the situation.

It is a head scratcher. Well, based on previous 1st=2nd round matches at UCLA, the expectation is that they will draw around 500 fans. Doesn't make sense to open up a 12,000 seat arena for 500 fans.
