LeGrand was a top recruit coming in...Nebraska Gatorade POY, etc., but has never seen much playing time in 3 years. Seems like she could be a starting libero somewhere else, unless she's just walking away from volleyball, like many previous USC DS's have.
Marina already transferred once, from Duke, and it would seem like academics are important. Is she transferring or retiring?
How dare you say that? That would imply that maybe, perhaps the USC Coaching Staff knew what they were doing when they let her go! Everyone was up in arms when she decommitted and blamed the new staff. Yet perhaps they know more than the people of volleytalk the abilities of these players!!
Not exactly. NL 18-2s has some solid talent. Both teams are competing in Open. Genuine shortage of middles according to their Club Director (they keep small rosters, 9-10 athletes). Since McCa'a had played with the 2s before, she went with that team. Then, not need to share playing time amongst 3 middles on the 1s team and fill a need on the 2s. She is solid and stands out on the team she is on.
