USC is stacking up very good players. The question will be can they pass or will they be like Texas who underachieves almost every season. USC hasn't been able to get out of its own way the last decade; and, only once (2011) have they advanced further than Texas in the post-season. So, better to compare them to a program on their level.

USC has always been able top pass the ball. Yet could only achieve one Final Four in over a decade . . .

Yet could only achieve one Final Four in over a decade . . . Year in and year out USC is one of the finest passing teams in the nation. They are?

Congrats on all those passing accolades. It's made a huge difference in your team's post-season finishes. Scary to think where you'd be without that excellent passing (you invented in your head).

What will Adams’ role be this year. Did she wait a whole year just to get bumped?

A few years ago Adams transferred from Ohio State and Marina transferred from Duke. It would be great if both of them were able to play this season for their senior year!

I think Marina is better suited for serving sub while Adams/Bustamante are DS and Libero. That being said, I think having Baptista play 6 rotations is a good idea, as mentioned.

So you're guessing LeGrand is back on thee bench? She filled in nicely last year as a serving sub. Any word on how practices are going? Abril back on the hardwood? Will she be able to make the adjustment back to indoor, or will this turn out to be another Strange event? Do the Trojans have anyone on the roster or coming in next year who will take some pressure off Botkin? Lanier's graduation departure will make her the focus of defensive attention. Depending on how the Libero plays this year, SC could have a very strong season. The talent is there, and I'm expecting good things.
