Dammit, another concussion for Lanier in June?!? That’s 3 in less than 2 years. Poor girl. Get her a Robin Rostratter helmet.

No photo of him actually drinking. If it’s a hot food spot, there’s people of all ages there. Can you not take a team to a restaurant that has the name ___ bar & grill because it says bar in the name?
I do not see a problem

It’s hard to find a spot to eat in Austin that isn’t brewery adjacent, so there is that...

How is allowing the evaluation and recruitment of the 2020 class to fall to the floor not the fault of the coach? Regardless of any transition issues, he knew exactly when he was hired. The question is, did he know what to do, and was he capable of doing it? I think we know the answer to that.

It’s really Donna’s fault. All of it.
It’s also funny how many people were calling for a change while Mick was still there but when he was fired suddenly people had a change of heart and started defending him.
Mick proved time and time again he could make the most out of what he had.
That 2016 team that lost to Nikki Taylor had Sarah Livingston, a transfer BASKETBALL player, forced to play outside in the NCAAs as Alyse Ford was injured.. as was a staring MB. It was a miracle they ended up at 14-13 in the 5th.
I don’t think Crouch can do the same.

The question is, did he know what to do, and was he capable of doing it? I think we know the answer to that. So you contend that the day Crouch stepped on campus he should have already had the evaluations and the relationships in place that other schools had spent the last two years developing, and act on them immediately? Before he hired staff? Before he communicated with recruits? Before he went to tourneys to evaluate players? That is nonsense. I also assume that the list of players he was considering before were not the same he would consider at USC, so probably were not of much help. I have no idea what sort of handoff there is from a fired coaching staff, and of what value is the information they leave behind. My guess is there isn't much of value, and the new staff wants to reevaluate everything anyway. That necessarily takes time. No, my contention is that he would have done it before he stepped foot on campus. A better, more experienced coach would have understood the situation, and potential pitfalls better, and would have had had a better plan for the contingencies. That isn't nonsense. Didn't he go to tourneys at his job before USC? Do you think he wears special glasses that allow him to see only the players that are at a level he is capable of recruiting? Of course, it would have been easier if there had been a smoother transition with Mick, or if Donna Heinel had been more competent, but Crouch knew the circumstances of the situation that he was walking into. Instead of making excuses, it makes more sense to consider that he was probably in over his head a bit, and still is.
