Any thoughts on the future of UCLA volleyball and especially the setters they will have next season?

Any thoughts on the future of UCLA volleyball and especially the setters they will have next season? Their future looks good to me. Their 2016 and 2017 classes are great.

I think the setting situation should be fine, Miller should start and I'm sure Sealy can develop her well if she isn't college ready right away (which I think she can be). For the DS's, Formico returns as the libero and hopefully they utilize Muno's good reading/defense and use her as a DS. Chandler should remain as backup setter should Sealy decide to swap setters (which will likely happen at points). Biggest question is hitters, I know that there's a strong freshman opposite coming in, but it really depends on how much improvement Anderson, Buechler, Ngauamo, and Lawless really step up. I know Anderson had plenty of kills this year but her hitting % was low because she made a lot of errors (as well as the other pin hitters). Also, hopefully Felix (and Frager) finally get the consistent setting the need to terminate at a high level.

I think UCLA will miss Inouye and Drolson. I think the Bruins will have a much more potent attack though

Van Winden will easily beat out Ngauamo/Lawless IMO.

Van Winden will easily beat out Ngauamo/Lawless IMO. Van Winden will enroll in the spring. That should give her the additional advantage. Hope Ngauagmo will challenge for Buechler's spot on the left. So tired of seeing Buechler struggles against a big block

I think UCLA will miss Inouye and Drolson. I think the Bruins will have a much more potent attack though Muno will fill in for one of them nicely. Some may even consider her an upgrade from the two, but we have yet to see her serve receive at the collegiate level. Schlener will probably fill the other position. From what I've seen, she's not bad either.

Overall floor defense will be down but the team can make up for it in offense and be a more balanced team overall.

I wonder if they will let Muno or Simo hit out of the backrow occasionally.

what about Carmona ? Is she ever going to get playing time ? Probably not. She joined the track team though so she'll get to compete in that sport at least.
