Texas has 9 service errors already, otherwise they are playing flawless, hitting .429 thus far. KState has 4 aces, 8 errors, and only hitting .169.

UT sweeps, 30-23. Very nice win for them. Mira had an ok night, 25 kills hit .538. Wow, she's so good.

HUGE hurdle cleared by the Longhorns. Now the only question is: can they play with the Huskers?

HUGE hurdle cleared by the Longhorns. Now the only question is: can they play with the Huskers? Maybe we should ask if the Huskers can play with the Horns? Texas has been more impressive thus far than Nebraska, if you ask me.

3-0? Awesome. Texas has a habit of choking with either Kansas or KSU every year. Even with them being ranked a few places ahead of KSU going into the match, this is a huge win which firmly establishes tournament preference even if they lose to Nebraska [and really, nobody else in the Big XII has the potential to touch UT at this point]. I can't wait to see whether they gain another notch or three on the AVCA. If they can handle Nebraska in three or four games, they'll deserve elevation to the national top five for the first time in years.

Topic with 25 kills in 3 games is amazing! K-State is very tough to beat at home and it will be very interesting to see how they will match up with Nebraska next week at home. Somehow I feel that Cook will match up Pavan on Topic and this will be the true test for Topic since Pavan is averaging almost 2 blocks per game by herself. You heard it here, Texas in 4.
