The final four is here. And zero discussion? This is the big event people.
Where are the expositions on these teams by doting fans? Where is the excitement for programs to make their mark on history?
It has been years of famine for some of these teams and this championship is going to be a huge one for the winner. I'll contribute some thoughts on match ups later but I thought I'd make a plea for discussion of our sport's championship.

No chance this final is anywhere near as gnarly as last years between Loyola v Lewis.

I possibly think it's cause Stanford is not in it and they had an amazing year. Shaw would've been interesting to witness in a playoff instance. These final four aren't as appealing as what other people predicted

Stanford WAS in it two years ago and got handled by loyola. No reason to believe they would have made it more interesting after the way UCSB treated them back to back.

Only OSU in the NCAA Final makes this an interesting 'National' tournament or it becomes a boring MPSF Final.

Not sure what is unappealing...OSU on a 20+ win streak with POY; LBSU has 3 freshman starters and 4 All Americans and NCOTY; BYU is BYU... again; UCLA running the only 6/2 offense in nation with the National Coach at the helm; and playing at PSU WITHOUT PSU for the first time in 18 years! Please enlighten me as to what would make this more interesting

I don't think there is a clear cut favorite. Any of the last four could win it, so it should be pretty interesting. BYU away from Provo is always a different team. Ohio State has the most experience in this arena and is as much of a home team as anyone there. That being said, there should be some concern of whether they peaked too early, as demonstrated by a 5 game nail biter vs a peaking Lewis team at home in the MIVA final.
I'll go with Ohio State and Long Beach in the final. Not sure who wins it.

BYU vs UCLA in the final with BYU winning it unless Speraw learned from watching UCSB v BYU, and has UCLA doing things no one has seen them do yet.

I think the most interesting thing is how none of these teams are full of veterans. You have the Ohio State rightside as a senior and a couple of juniors sprinkled around the others teams but most impact players are freshmen or sophomores

Point still stands though, I am excited to see these guys play at the biggest stage in college volleyball.

Only OSU in the NCAA Final makes this an interesting 'National' tournament or it becomes a boring MPSF Final. So the final four is only interesting if the we have teams representing the each region of the country? Sad comment. I thought the goal of the NCAA tournament was ultimately to find the best 2 teams in the country. I would be thrilled to see Erskine, George Mason or OSU in the finals, but only if they are able to play the best volleyball in the country. If OSU loses today, then they are not playing the best volleyball in the country and don't deserve to be in the finals. Which would be more "boring" watching UCLA and LBSU in the finals, or watching Erskine play George Mason in the finals because they are more geographically diverse and haven't been there before? If the finals is an MPSF finals then it underlines that the MPSF is playing better volleyball than the other conferences. Hopefully that will motivate the other conferences to recruit better players and coaches and to search out the toughest schedules that they can so they can be playing in the finals in coming years. I think it was great to see the MPSF react to the growth of the MIVA over the last few years. They didn't take it laying down. They upped their game. It would be hard to argue that there is better volleyball being played now in any of the conferences outside the MPSF. May the best teams (and not the most geographically diverse teams!) win today.

When the realization comes. I didn't know that by comrades, fellowship/discussion was something so hard-up (for some).
