This will be a great match. I wish I could be there to see it in person.

I'll wait to make my predictions based on how both of these teams perform in their games leading up to Sunday. Mainly, has the connections with the middles developed much more than it has been with Texas and who is playing/ healthy for Wisconsin. Agree completely though, should be a very entertaining match.

I'm excited for this match-up. Wisconsin is a good team. While I don't want to lose to them, if we do, I'll chalk it up to a learning moment (like our game against Nebraska). I'm hoping both Gillis and Haggerty are in full form, especially Haggerty. I don't want a Wisconsin B team playing at Gregory!

I'm rooting for Texas because it's helps to not have the Big 10 get two top seeds and thus hosts two sites for regionals.

Easy. Texas wins this match. Just looking at the positions alone, there isn't a Wisconsin player, besides maybe Carlini, that I would take over her Longhorn counterpart across the net.

Gillis has really developed and she will not be playing.

Just like in 2013. And by the way, you must not know very much about players or form but I'd definitely take both All American middles on WI over two very unproven, rarely set Texas middles.

Definitely. Well, that makes 3 positions, doesn't it ? A shame about Gillis. With no injuries, WI had a chance to go 4-0 over the previous and upcoming weekends. Now, getting 2 wins might be more realistic, but I hope for 3.

I really don't believe that the Texas block will have problems containing Wisconsin's middle attack. IMO Nelson is grossly overrated; her only advantage has been having Carlini as her setter. Without Carlini, though, Nelson would be a forgettable name in B1G volleyball, still behind players like Holman, A. Rolfzen, Cuttino, Sandbothe, Washington, Cole (if she's not playing RS) and the Tapp sisters. As for Williams, I thought she only received honorable mention status...
