Good call. I hope Hector knows what he's getting into. Are there problems at tcu? Possibly related to why the old coach left? The prior coach was treated very shabbily by the athletic department, IMO. For a coach, there a few things worse than knowing the AD doesn't have your back when parents attempt to interfere with coaching decisions.

Was hearing also the indoor coach was dictating what staffing resources would be assigned to the beach program and it wasn't what it needed to be.

Carson Newman University a Division 2 School in Jefferson City, TN is looking for a Head Beach Volleyball Coach/Indoor Assistant Coach
The program currently has 11 Freshman Beach only Athletes committed and signed for the Fall of 2017. There is one crossover athlete doing both indoor and beach. The seniors from the indoor team also play beach in the spring.
Salary:$30,000 with Benefits Scholarships: There is scholarship money available to offer to athletes Assistant Coach: The GA will work with the indoor team in the fall and the beach team in the Spring. Description: Will report to the indoor head coach Dave Franklin, however, will have full run of the beach program from recruiting, to all operations, and Training. Will help with the indoor team as an assistant coach when no conflicts with the Beach program. For example during indoor pre-season and once Beach off-season training has completed.
This is a growing program, in one year the program has gone from 0 Beach only players to 11, offering scholarships, and upgrading our facilities. We have had talks about joining new conferences in the next year or two.
