Washington www.gohuskies.com/schedule.aspx?path=wbvballWho is complaining about 2 months? Dawgs only play in April with only one match (Boise State? ) in Seattle. As someone that really wanted to see this team (travelled to Honolulu last year) this is a disappointment. There is actually a beach vb community here that would support (and showed for the one match played at Alki last year).

Washington had a strong team last year and this looks like a pretty weak commitment to the program. Very Nebraska-esque. I wonder if it's a funding issue or leadership (coaching) issue. Based on your response, it doesn't seem to be a market-demand issue (although strong fan-base doesn't translate to much $). The roster doesn't seem to have any beach-only athletes. Do you know if they are giving any aid? It's too bad because the northwest seems like a great environment for competitive beach volleyball. I know the Seaside, OR tournament is very popular. I would think that beach volleyball would grow quickly in the northwest because it seems to be a good fit for the culture.

Any and all edits welcome! ESPECIALLY the home courts- it is surprisingly difficult to find out exactly where many of the schools practice and compete. It's very unfortunate for fans and would be awesome to have the locations on www.collegesand.org.

UTM is Univ of TENNESSEE at Martin Webber has 3 courts on Crooked Lake (real beach at edge of campus).

They should be able to run a few matches at the DaKine facility starting next season.
