I had some time so- regarding the inquiry by 'teamjess' about the Class of 2018 HP Holiday Camp attendees last December... I don't believe a roster for the 2016 Holiday Camp was ever published however, I did a little cut and paste from the 2016 HP Championship's rosters and came up with the lists below. These are only players from the Class of 2018 in the A1 or Continental groups, some already committed. It also doesn't include players from some of the Regional teams, most notably the two SCVA Youth teams, tons of talent there and committed players as well. There are also some very skilled players in the A2 group which I didn't include that will move up this summer. I agree that this class is going fast with the class of 2019 right behind them. There are several players in that group that have made their visits, done their homework and are very close to committing.
Disclaimer- this was cut and paste so my apologies for typos or misspelled names-

I have seen all those lists on the USA Volleyball site - I know there were boys at the Holiday camp who were new to the HP program - I was wondering if there was ever a list of boys who attended that camp.

There are definitely more players committing in their junior year than ever before. There are 19 right now (to my knowledge).
Tim Baldwin - BYU - Outside Hitter Miguel Sarabia - BYU - Outside Hitter Trevor Kennan - George Mason - Libero Cole Udall - Grand Canyon - Libero / Outside Gabe Featherstone - Long Beach - Opposite Dawson Fugate - Long Beach - Outside Hitter Parker Mikesch - Ohio State - Libero Ethan Talley - Ohio State - Middle / Opposite / Outside Brendin Chandler - Pepperdine - Setter Jacob Steele - Pepperdine - Outside Hitter Ben Weinberg - Pepperdine - Outside Hitter Jonny Bowles - UC Irvine - Opposite Sam Burgii - UCLA - Outside Hitter Kevin Kobrine - UCLA - Opposite Cole Pender - UCLA - Outside Hitter Andrew McSweeney - UC Santa Barbara - Outside Hitter Ryan Pecsok - UC Santa Barbara - Libero Ryan Wilcox - UC Santa Barbara - Outside Hitter Brandon Browning - USC - Outside Hitter
One thing I noticed is most of these commits are pin hitters. College coaches want to lock up the pin hitters, and then spend more time looking at setters, middles, and liberos in the summer.

Unfortunately recruiting for the boys is starting to get earlier . Hopefully it doesn't get anywhere close to the women's game anytime soon. Pins are the first to go normally, but that doesn't mean there are none left. I can guarantee there are still some really solid, college-bound pins who have yet to commit. There are at least 3 outsides and 2 oppos who are being highly recruited and have standing offers from multiple D1 schools. Why they wait, I don't know, but good for them. Colleges wait for setters and bros because they want to see development. Should see some start to commit soon!

Brady Wedbush, 6'6 opposite for Team Rockstar 18s and Loyola HS, has committed to Princeton. He is a senior right now, but he will be taking a gap year. So, he is going to be class of 2022 at Princeton.

Kanai Akana, 6'3 OH / OPP from Spike and Serve 17s and Punahou, has committed to BYU. So now they have six good pins in a two year span: Charlie Siragusa, Garrett Halsey, Gabi Garcia, Tim Baldwin, Miguel Sarabia and now Kanai Akana. All good players.

Pat Vorenkamp, 6'5 middle from 949 17's, committed to UC Irvine (I think this was a while ago but I don't think it got put on this thread). I'm pretty sure he's class of 2019. Now there are 6 Division 1 commits on 949 17's, and once Diego Perez and Paragas commit, that will make 8 D1 players. That's impressive.
