Agree that it seems all about effort. She even called them out for being out of shape. She may well expect a higher level of physical endurance from them at practices than they are used to in order to condition them for games.
From the sound of it, RAMS even jumped in to finish a drill when Noreen couldn't. Wow.

Interesting that RAMS mentioned something about cutting those who aren't giving their 100%. Since it's a given that among the hardest workers are usually the walk-ons (if we are to believe previous Shoji quotes and newspaper articles), can RAMS cut any of the scholarship players who aren't giving their 100%? IDK. Does Hawaii's conference have a 4-year guarantee rule? If so, she can bench them or cut them, but the players still count towards the 12-person limit, IIRC.

Gotta love this "local girl" mentality. Erraz (errors) and "we're all good". I'm excited to see what she has in store.

I'm actually concerned that RAMS might be trying to do too much too soon. I've seen this with over-eager newcomers who, instead of taking a cautious and measured view, just dive right in and make too many changes which end up to the detriment of the program. That's the adrenaline and excitement talking. Experienced people know better. I've seen this time and time again. At work, newbies try to do too much to impress their bosses -- and they end up embarrassing themselves. I myself have become better at my profession after time even though I was the most enthused in my first year, when I was ready to chop people's heads off with a take-no-prisoners attitude. You can't go in with guns blazing and change everything in sight. All your people will be dazed and confused. Doing too much? Being in better shape is asking too much? Having Noreen focus on indoor only because she is essentially the QB on that floor is asking for too much? Our girls need to suck it up.....shes been on Shojis staff for years....she knows what's up and what she could have or would have changed if she had the chance. Now she actually has the chance to make those changes.

So something has to change. Agreed! Robyn is NOT content with the occasional Final Four appearance. She wants them to be physically and more mentally strong so they can reach that pinnacle.

Robyn needs to "Titafy" these girls. Hawai'i teams have been soft over the past few years. She should schedule a game at Paki Park against the Mahus, that will toughen this team up. Titafy it!

Is the Titafication process also applied to cattle?

Who are those two women who spoke at the end? The first one looks like Lily Kahumoku (but who probably isn't) and the second one is a blonde woman (who probably wasn't a player).

Second is Lauren Matsumoto ( Cheape) former Miss Hawaii and her brother Matthew played libero for Charlie Wade a few years back.
