Huskers sweep all 5 matches today. Were all of the matches at the single court at the Strength Complex? Heard they were going to try to add a second court at some point, via expansion or another facility.

Nice little run at the end of set one by JWO/Malloy but Hawaii kicked them into a real big hole to start out. Great defensive efforts by JWO!

Five matches of Annika Albrecht / Olivia Boender uploaded by Annika's dad if anyone wants to check it out. From what I've seen this season, Nebraska's players are - generally speaking - long, athletic kids who can crush the ball if they have a good set, but really struggle with the nuances of beach VB. Which is no surprise (nor it it meant as a slam). That said, outside of JWO, Albrecht and Hunter have stood out with some very nice play. IMO.

The biggest thing I've noticed them struggling with (naturally) is energy conservation. Using mainly indoor approaches and armswings, lots of block jumps when they should be pulling, movement plays on defense due to a lack of reading ability. They're getting quite the workout! They do look smarter this season though. Tyler and Kayla look to be having a huge hand in helping them understand strategy a little better. They look good! They just look like indoor players playing beach. Albeit elite indoor players, its fun to watch them figure it out.
