OK... the guy just said "25-10, Tech back within 10!" As if within 10 in a 30 point game means anything. Oy. Much like being down 20-12 in a game to 25? You can never tell, even in rally point.

I thought Georgia Tech was really under-sized at middle, even more so than most teams up against Adams and Candelas. They also just didn't have the passing to keep running the stuff they were running. They did play some scrappy defense, but there just wasn't enough offense.
Venski and Copenhagen were the Opposites, as mentioned above. Florian and Bishop played a little, too, with Florian playing pretty well. Gysin was in an ankle cast of some sort.
Seilhammer did play well, but didn't really remind me of Davis. Burdine was very good. Robinson so-so.
I dunno. The setting was OK. It's really hard for me to tell how good they and the rest of the team are, however. GTech just didn't play very well--credit to USC, of course.
Nevana set a little in game 3. I don't know if Dunphy was there or not. I wasn't paying attention. But she was in the media guide and on the roster.
Tech's setting was sub-par. Big shoes to fill, but lots of mishandled balls. I'm sure she will improve.

Dunphy was there. I looked for her Saturday night. Just didn't play.
Interesting that Preiss is listed in the boxscore. Oops.

During the team warm-up on friday, both Alex and Nena got some setting practices when the team was doing its 6-on-6 passing, hitting and blockings. I don't think Alex will see any court action. Watching her movements, she seems a little sluggish, and not much athletic (possibly affected by the back injury which she has been recuperating over the past 2 years).
