About Bjelica I'm sending you the statistics' link of the Serbian League (5 matches, 15 sets, 58 kills, 8 blocks, 7 aces and still 11th on the League's index) ossrb-web.dataproject.com/Statistics.aspx?ID=22&PID=0. Yes Volero is always paying good but is most probably Volero's last season since his president already announced that is buying Le Cannet in France and Volero will remain a team for young talents. The main reason for his decision is that he wants a great team in a more competitive league. So I doubt that Bjelica chose Volero because of the good prospect. Most probably the other way around. Terzic is not getting involved with the new coach of Volero... For Dijkema and Lloyd is another story because setters are not finding easily a new team or to be more accurate: a new coach. There is always a combination of factors for changing a setter and even if it's not playing well it's always a risk to change her in the middle of the season. Also for Laura and Carli to stay another 3-4 months out of competitive volley could reflect on their performance in WGP and WCH in the summer. So since we were in January there were not so many options on the table. And Laura was without a team, but Carli made the wrong choice last summer. And yes let's stop here..people will get furious.. What mistake did Carli make last summer? Playing with the national team and not doing well? Playing with the national team and getting injured? Or was it signing with Fenerbache (one of top Turkish clubs)? Because she was expected to play for them before injury. It's not like she was unsigned and got an offer or just decided to play right now.

I wouldn't have thought setting middles would be a weakness of hers. It isn't. Her favorite thing to do is make the impossible set to her middle. The lack of attempts she's given to Adenizia and Arrighetti lead me to believe that there might be some miscommunication between her and her coaches, because if the fix was as simple as "stop setting Haak so much," she's capable of making that adjustment. Or perhaps the team isn't given enough opportunities in practice to clean up those connections. But there's been nothing in Carlini's career to suggest she has trouble connecting with her middles or that it is a weakness of hers.

Those middles attacking ability really isn’t a strength especially sphegetti. So what would you do when you have Haak and Cruz as pin hitters? Carlini is like, finally, I got me some pins that can put a ball down.

College to pro is a transition, a tough one. And there is always a period of time before someone is good at something where they are first bad at it.
One thing I know about LC after watching her for four years at Wisconsin is that she puts in the work. She will get there. I believe in her.

I was referring to her transfer from Italy to Fener (but that has to do with my opinion about Fener and Turkish League. Of course I'm not in a position to know what drove her to that choice. But this is my opinion

What is happening to Kelsey Robinson at Vakifbank? If you follow her on social media you know that she is all-world when it comes to entertaining self-promotion. But what seemed to be a click-in replacement for Hill for the OH2 spot and a repeat of Vakif CL gold does not seem to be happening.
To date Gozde continues to start in CL play, Krob did not even get off the bench in their most recent match. A team that Vakif easily defeated. Krob watchers know that she has the personality and style to project Larson like leadership skills she just can’t seem to grow her game enough to create the gravitas to get there.
Vakif will face a stiff challenge this year in the CL playoffs with the aging Gozde as Zhu’s side kick rather than Hill. Can Krob reprise her stellar last season play for Imoco or has she taken a step to far?

In the last match against ECZ, the playoff stage and the final four it was all Hill. Also in the World Club Championships it was Hill. At this point we are not seeing Krob much at all.

Hill started every set in the Final Four, Playoffs, and both group stage matches against Eczacibasi. Gozde started the group stage matches against teams that were not threats. With one or two exceptions, that was how the Turkish domestic competitions worked out too.

Hey...now that Calloni's injury forced Modena to sign a serbian middle hitter...does that mean that Symone is relegated to the team's practice squad because of the foreign plaer limit rule?
