Its a good thing Evans and Kolinske had that whole summer of playing against the greatest competition in the world and got better because they were on the AVP... oh wait. Guess you can actually be good no matter how you practice/play and who you align your beliefs with Also super smart of them to have beaten these teams in a free event rather than making 5k apiece for doing it in an AVP. "Honey remind me again why you decided to not earn money for doing what you were going to spend your weekends doing anyway." "Did you forget, I didn't think the guy donating money to us but receiving no financial gain himself was doing so graciously enough" "Oh thats right, congratulations on that NORCECA thing" Ding, ding ding, we have another winner folks.

Not surprised. Jamaica is infamous for cancelling events last minute.

Not surprised. Jamaica is infamous for cancelling events last minute. Do you know if any thought has been given to making these qualifiers spectator events? Thats a lot of great teams playing each other somewhere off in the wilderness.

Any where else, more people probably have to be involved, which means more money. I'd love it if they live streamed it with Tri or Rich broadcasting though.

I wasn't necessarily thinking as something that would create revenue but just to draw attention to the sport. The women's lineup was more interesting to me than any AVP I watched this year and I imagine the mix and match pairings on both side would have attracted a lot of attention had some effort been made

Bottom line, I agree & I'd love to see these matches too.

Thats a lot of great teams playing each other somewhere off in the wilderness. It seems to me that the attitude has always been "OK, let's get this over with" more than anything else. I think USAV can, and should, do more with it.
