Hill and Fabris are on fire tonight. Imoco leads 2 to nothing.

No answer yet. 25-18 second set. The attack efficiency of Imoco is very high today 56% vs 31%. With multiple attackers and efficient setting there is a lot of one on one swings that Imoco is converting. Points are well spread through Imoco's hitters and very few teams have 5 powerful attackers. There is no weak link between Hill, Bricio, Fabris, Robin, Danesi, and even Folie, who is injured, on a well set ball. Not forgetting that Hodge was part of this group before she got injured. The GM for Imoco has put together a solid squad that I think has a chance to pick up the Triple Crown this year. Live stats link www.cev.lu/Competition-Area/MatchStatistics.aspx?ID=30764

Novara is finding their rhythm in set 3 whereas Imoco's errors increased.

It seems that we can expect a five-set match.

It seems that we can expect a five-set match. I apologize, it was too early to predict. Congneliano took down Novara in four. Nice job done by Hill and her teammates.

Very different match compared to the weekend. Plak and Egonu were very error-prone today which, combined with a much worse day in serve receive for Novara (effect of different ball?), made this mostly non-competitive. For Conegliano, getting Fabris in added a lot, plus De Kruijf was wayyyy better than she was on Saturday. Bricio also didn't have to pass too many serves which helped.

Great game by Hill. 35 receptions with 63%/23% 2 errors, and still with 45% attack and one block for 14 pts.. There was excellent play spread throughout the team . A great start for Imoco in a tough group B.

Must win for Fenerbache vs Imoco live now on laola1.tv, free on the internet except for smart phones, etc. Fener is minus Natalie so they are short handed. Imoco has Fabris still recovery form an ankle sprain.
Imoco win ensures that they will advance to the elite 6.

Imoco started strong, but they really lost their groove about 1/2 through the first set.

Without Fabris in the lineup Imoco is struggling to finish on attack. If a diminished Fener can do this to Imoco at home I shudder to think what Vakif would do to them. Hill hitting a very low percentage.

Anyone who is following Hill knows that she has one of the worse cases of serving yips that I have seen and this use to be her strong suit. The Imoco errors just keep piling up.

They pulled out the third set. Imoco still are not playing well though.

How many times has Conegliano tried to run back row and had to free tip it over because of a bad connection? You just gotta stop setting it at that point.
