I may have exaggerated some but OCC is getting a lot of very good players for a JC next year. Drew Donahoo - OPP from Tustin High who finished 2nd in CIF SS in division 2 - had 18 kills in finals Tony Delgado - MB from Tustin High The two middles from Balboa 18s Diego Perez - 3 gold medals at BJNC and two CIF SS titles - can play OH, setter but is best at libero Cade Campbell OH - Canyon High - was on Pulse club team that got silver in BJNC Club 17 division last year who are you aware of?? I know the 2 Balboa middles and Garrett Halsey is coming - anyone else? I guess that makes them a lock for 2nd in state? Good job OCC!!!

I haven't seen them play much, so I'm not really sure how good they are. I poked around a bit and this is the best video I can find. Looks like it was uploaded a few days ago and both the middles going to OCC played in the match, so hopefully this can give you some idea.

They both were starting for Balboa and Balboa got to the finals in 18s by beating the number 4 seed HPSTL, 3 seed SASVBC (pool play), and Number 1 seed MB Surf. They are good additions to the roster of a junior college.

Where is the 2 time silver medalist, Junior Olympic All American from HBC Denjamin Kouri going? I heard from inside sources that people called him “Mater Deingerous” from his killer double arm lift and ball control capabilities.

Who will be first in the state then? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? LA Pierce suppose to be good again? Should be. As of now, looks like both middles, 1 outside, libero and oppo return. Of course, this is JC and things happen. Pierce replaces a setter and 1 outside.
