I had a friend in the 1980s whose husband worked as an accountant for Philip Morris, the tobacco products manufacturer. I asked her what she felt about cigarettes and how her husband could work for such a company. She and her husband know they're associated with a company that makes a product that's terrible for people, but hey, her husband needs a job in his chosen field. Same goes for all the coaches at SPRI. They need a paying job in their chosen profession. I bet most (if not all) privately don't support RB, but they probably have mouths to feed. What are you going to do? On the other hand, Donald Trump got elected despite his mysoginistic and corrupt bent. So, you know, people aren't into evidence. They may not care or they may care but not enough. Coaching club volleyball isn't feeding any mouths...part time work....part time pay...single digit dollars per hour if you are doing it right, and for the right reasons

We also concur on your evidence remark. The whole fake news system has been exposed for pushing stories with no evidence to back them up, yet half the country bought it. What are you going to do?

Not the lay off which is that they get to train really great athletes that go to those clubs.

There are many of these types who tend to side with a rapist over a victim. They're also the ones who'll correct you and insist that he's an "alleged" rapist.

Yes, he did eventually move down to the steps to be closer, or get away from other people. He had a decent sized group with him at certain points. I did not see him giving Cheryl any cues. I was not around most the time though. I was around. My name is Seth Salmon. I am the assistant for the team and he gave no cues. Thank you, Seth Salmon #Ricksupporter This is hilarious, glad you could clear that up for us as we will all surely believe this like all other information that comes out SPVB. I am sure you are excited for the promotion and need to show blind loyalty. But so were the executives that got promotions at Enron shortly before they did not have jobs for some reason. Btw, this is not twitter, you can not search this hashtag, and if you did it would almost be exclusively used by staff members of SPVB - while you are at it change your avatar to the SPVB logo too so anyone who missed this post later knows what is going on....that seemed to work really well on facebook the last couple years.

Speaking of supporting Rick, that other white guy named Rick who sings that catchy tune is highly under-rated:

Rick was there to watch today. Didn't come near the court, but was watching as 18 elite won gold bracket today. He was on the steps giving Cheryl cues...especially when they went 3 with Michio. I was standing 3 feet from him waiting for the 2nd semi to start.  This is extremely silly. No matter what you think of her personally, Cheryl is a great coach. To think that Rick thinks he can’t trust her with that team and needs to signal things to her is crazy.

Well I watched the 18E team play this weekend.. I was not impressed at all. The 6'5 Sophomore is legit, but the rest of the team I'm not so sure about. For being Setter's U, I sure was not impressed with this years QB.

Agreed, but thinking that he can't trust her and possibly anxiously (or subconsciously) coaching his team in a pressure situation are two different things. When is the last time he was not able to actually coach a team that matters to him very much that he has that close of personal connection and control over? I am not saying he did it nor am I saying didn't, but any of us who are passionate about the game I am sure at some point in our careers have found ourselves "coaching" in some way or another from the sidelines or stands. Seth just admitted they did not leave him control of the team and he would get out coached by other head coaches that were originally listed in that pool for day one. You think one week was enough time to prepare those girls for anything other than what they were used to when Seth is the next closest thing they have to a consistent coach and they did not trust him enough to handle it this weekend?

Yo "coach": just because some anonymous poster self-screennames himself 'sethsalmon' Does NOT mean that's who it really is! Something weird about that poster/post. Perhaps diversion tactic.

Ever think that someone could be trolling you. I'm pretty sure that Seth Salmon is not "sethsalmon" on this volleytalk forum. Those darn Russians.
Just saying.
I just received the official coach sign language playbook from SPRI. Legally, of course. Definitely helping coach his team this past weekend. Actually, I think I saw his holographic image on the bench from the YouTube streams each match.
