Hawaii will beat Illinois. They will fall to Washington (sorry Wahine fans), but it will be another barn burner. Too much to overcome against a good Washington team. Hawaii will need to play well to accomplish any of this, but I think they are peaking at the right time and are stoked to be playing in the tournament.
Nope... Hawaii will have a first round cameo... Bastianelli, Coulter, Quade > Maglio, Iosia, Granato...
The inconsistent Granato and service error bug will show up in Seattle... I'm calling it!
I called it that Pac-12 teams hosting 1st rounds will have terrible attendance.
I don't think terrible.
Stanford, UW, Utah led the PAC in attendance and will probably all be over 3k for the first two nights. And USC and UCLA have been much better than usual this year when it comes to attendance.
None will be at Nebraska levels, but not horrible.
Stanford attendance Friday night will be low since their opponent is weak AND the football team is playing in the Pac-12 Championship just down the road in Santa Clara. Saturday should be a different story, since it should be all hands on deck in a valiant attempt to defeat BLUE.
