Way to go, Creighton! I really enjoyed the pre-season tournament there that I attended in 2015. Creighton takes really good care of their fans and players. Love it! Please cue up another tournament with the Badgers for 2018 please.

So are they going to have a chicken and a greek dude too? That is kind of cool to paint in the mascots of the visitors. Maybe it's because Mo. St is an old MVC foe. Who cares about the others! Or maybe the other side has the rooster and trojan. Or the other two doors haven't gotten the treatment yet. It is going to be loud in there. I'm torn though - if Bluejays and Missouri State come out of the first round, I won't know who to root for.

BTW, those doors probably aren't painted, but vinyl-wrapped.
(Someone always has to nitpick!)

Tickets are all-session and sold out today in 45 minutes. That's exciting to hear that they sold-out already. Fortunately, season ticket holders were able to get tickets earlier.

I've lived in Omaha for 21 years but never been inside Sokol. I can imagine it gets pretty loud when that place is packed. Hopefully CU fans bring the atmosphere for this weekend.

I'm torn though - if Bluejays and Missouri State come out of the first round, I won't know who to root for. It was a work in progress when I took the picture yesterday. Here's the finished product. Photo credit: @mjdemarinis Yeah that’s awesome. Creighton seems like a school and program that has their sh*t together. Yes, but it also goes to show how the excitement goes through the roof when a school that's never hosted gets to, for the first time. Heck of a subregional. Will be interesting to see who comes out on top! Yes, the only subregional featuring three conference tournament champions. Also the only regional featuring the ONLY student-athlete in D-I volleyball history to earn four conference POY awards... Leah Hardeman of Coastal Carolina. This will be a near homecoming for Coastal's starting setter, Sara Boothe of Lincoln. Way to go, Creighton! I really enjoyed the pre-season tournament there that I attended in 2015. Creighton takes really good care of their fans and players. Love it! Please cue up another tournament with the Badgers for 2018 please. Would love that! Badgers are a classy program and always good for RPI. I believe it is a Spartan, not a Trojan. Correct. The USC Trojans played here too, earlier in the season. BTW, those doors probably aren't painted, but vinyl-wrapped. (Someone always has to nitpick!) You're right. I'm hopeful that the custom Bluejay door handles will be permanent. Tickets are all-session and sold out today in 45 minutes. That's exciting to hear that they sold-out already. Fortunately, season ticket holders were able to get tickets earlier. As they should. One correction to my earlier post... Tickets actually sold out in 20 minutes officially, not 45. Those who could not get tickets can go to the open practices this afternoon. Creighton's is from 3:10-4:40 and Coastal follows until 6:15.

Excellent work by Creighton. That's a standard that many other schools should consider stepping up to meet.

Photo credit: @mjdemarinis Mo State mascot didn't get the memo to turn toward their left.... haha tangent thought: it seems most logos featuring a character or head face that way, if they aren't facing "forward" like Mo State. I wonder how that became the default direction, and if there are any schools whose logo faces the opposite way. Correct. The USC Trojans played here too, earlier in the season. Was a fun tournament that weekend. (if only UNI could have held on and beat Kentucky too)

Progressing from what has happened to what is going to happen. Forward thinking. There are whole studies on it. Especially for portrait photography types. If you look at photos of powerful leaders thru history, the typical portrait is right-facing.
