The Umbrellas of Cherbourg was surprisingly entertaining.

I'm sorry, but I think there is a definite separation -- in terms of bad behavior -- between child molestation and sexual harrassment. Of course, Weinstein took it to an extreme. Possibly to such an extreme that it was just as bad. And I still have a problem with the Woody Allen accusation. I don't trust Mia Farrow. I think she's nuts. I do think it's possible for someone to be falsely accused. I just don't know. It's a bizarre accusation and there's a lot of bizarre people involved, including Woody. Also to note, watching a movie from someone accused of sexual harassment is not the same as sending your kid to play for a coach who is accused of sexual assault.

Don’t get me wrong, my kid wouldn’t go near his club. What about the clubs that play in his JVA stuff? Would you ban your kid from playing for a club that supports his tournaments?

Not a hypothetical to me. My daughter's club plays JVA and even has a tournament at SPVB. I've let the director know I don't approve, but I'm not going to boycott.

I like Chris Brown's music, but he's a detestable person.

Lots of discussion about parents sending their daughters to SP, wanting coaches to not recruit players from there, etc. For discussion: I think Michael Jackson abused little boys. I still listen to his music. Love his music. Want to go the tribute show in Vegas. Am I a hypocrite? Should I never watch a Harvey Weinstein movie again? Feel free to come up with your own examples. I do not think you are a hypocrite to go to a Michael Jackson tribute show or watch a Weinstein movie. I definitely separate art from the artist's life choices. Ran into this issue when my son while in middle school discovered Hendrix and Led Zeppelin and we had to discuss how one could enjoy the music without taking the drugs. I still enjoy Bill Cosby's humor, but it is clear he has been a disgusting creep for a long time. Misbehavior directly connected to a person's profession, such as with Rick Butler, is trickier. The question becomes to what extent one believes consuming the product enables or validates that misbehavior.

For the record, Dylan is adopted.* 7 years old at the time. It's just a bizarre story and a bizarre family.
*Not that it matters; I'm just correcting myself.

Heard some radio stations are banning Michael Jackson songs because of the documentary. Also heard R Kelly's songs are also banned as a result of his sexual assault allegations.

Is it a proven fact that MJ abused boys? I know rumors have swirled around him for years, but it was never proven (at least in his life time) that he was a child abuser. Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning child abuse in any way, but I did not watch the documentary. What new compelling evidence did it present? MJ is dead after all, so there is no way he can mount a defense against the allegations.

No idea. I didn’t watch it either, so I was a bit surprise to hear it on the radio (iHeart Radio app)...was mentioned in the Elvis Duran Morning show. It was also reported BBC banned his music, but BBC management refuted the rumor.
