2 teams with no shot of winning as neither has a legit blocker. Zaun/Roberts for obvious reasons but Avery just isn't remotely dominant enough at the net for play at the elite level.

Wouldn't call a 1* elite. I'd put Avery at least on Koliskie's level. I think if they've been practicing at all, they'll have a shot at a medal. They won't have a great seed. I don't recognize a single team beside McHugh/Schumann.

I enjoy watching him play, and would love to see how he'd do with more size.

I'm pleasantly surprised this 1 star is pool play. I think both teams have a shot of getting out of their pools.
