I thought Jackson Browne was dead until all this mess about possible terrorism at his Tuesday night concert. I never heard anything in the news so I guess the concert went off without a terror attack. Maybe you're thinking of Tom Petty. I get Jackson Browne and Tom Petty mixed up all the time even though they're completely different singers with different color hair. Their styles overlap somewhat but that makes sense because they're guitarists from the 1970s/80s who grew up on Bob Dylan crap. I thought everyone with the last name Petty was required to be a race car driver.

I had to really think (and call my brother) before I sent a Christmas card to my Uncle Bill last month. His twin died in 2016,and I coulda swore he died sometime soon after, but I was wrong.

I can understand not liking his voice, but the man was (is?) a lyrical genius.

Still waiting for Kirk Douglas. By the way, the love theme from his film Spartacus is my favorite love theme of all time: Did they also play that theme for the scene between Tony Curtis and Laurence Olivier?
