Predict who your number 1 (and 2 if you want) flight (s) for the 2018 Season? There are lots of schools with a really good number 1 team; with Claes and Hughes out of the picture, who will be the top pairs to beat this season?

Sara Sponcil & ? (Zana) ? & Plummer Tina & Abril. Or T. Cannon & Joe Sponcil and Muno over the twins? I know Nicole is coming back from injury, but has been cleared to play. Plummer and Formico maybe? Tina and Abril or Cannon and Joe...That one could be a tough call at this point in time. SaveSave

Tina Graudina and Abril Bustamante. The Latvian-Latin duo should be nr. 1 pending Abril's rehab. Tina's Hague 17th and European women's silver the week after (defeating an FIVB top ten SUI team with her LAT partner) are good indicators.

I'm going to say Maglio and Schucht or Martin and Weaver, but I'd really like it to be Mags and Schucht at number 1 for Hawai'i.

Bustamonte/Graudina currently hold down the #1 spot, followed by Cannon/Hallgren - although Slater is also a possibility.

A related question, who will be the number 1 and 2 flights for some of the top programs?
UCLA USC Pepperdine Arizona Cal Poly Hawaii LSU FL State S. Carolina Long Beach Grand Canyon Stetson
Not in ranking order.
Add on here if you know or would like to predict pairs 1 and 2.

I hope the pairs tournament gets a lot more participants this season. I know some people are not for having it in Gulf Shores but I liked it. Gave pairs on not as strong teams an opportunity to make it far.

FSU: 90% the ones will be Paranagua/Goncalves. Putt has been killing it (so I hear), so probably the 2's will be her and ?? partner. This is second hand news, not official.
