Apparently there are now rumors of others leaving but I haven’t seen or heard anything concrete on that. Everyone else but Leath on the roster is practicing. I don’t think Sagula will recruit anyone else with the caliber of OHs coming in but he may seek a reserve.

Lexi would not last at PSU, she would have to be nice to people. If she can tolerate White's butt slaps, she'll be just fine.

That’s what concerns me. Personally I’d rather have Lanier. I know more about her. Will she transfer out late or is she staying. Lanier was my wish. In the end I think sun will end up with a team that has beach volleyball also

There’s your OH depth, ay2013. Kinda a big deal. She was a 2016 All-American. Haven’t seen an article yet. And, that shows you why Stanford has a hard time keeping up with PSU and Nebraska. When Stanford loses a key person to injury, it's the bench (their recruits) or nothing. When PSU or Neb have a hole to fill, they recruit a transfer.

Historically, that has applied much more frequently to Nebraska than to Penn State. That's not a value judgment, it's a fact.

I don't disagree, Neb has played that card much more often ... but PSU at least has it available.

So Penn States lineup looks something like
OH Leath and Cathey MB Gorrell and Gray (or Hord) RS/S Parker RS/S Reed/Weiskircher L White
Is that about right? Can Hord play RS? Does she push Gorrell for middle?

Weiskircher certainly is the incumbent, but from everything I've heard, Blossom is very, very good. So there will be a battle at the setter position. Also, not impossible that Hord and Gray beat out Gorrell. Again, she's the incumbent, but Hord and Gray were #3 and #5 Senior Aces, respectively, so they also are very, very good. Even White can't ignore Jenna Hampton (and won't, I'm quite certain). There will be a lot of competition for starting positions.

Even if not quite as good initially, I would play her to get reps because by the end of 2018 she could take PSU to the title.

I’d almost be tempted to start blossom to get her on page with her fellow freshman early, rather then having weiskircher set for year then go to blossom and reset rythem with other players. If blossom is better or if it’s really close I’d prob start the freshman.
