Does he/she play for a B1G or Pac-12 team (I know the conferences don't apply to men, but Ohio State, for example, is still a B1G team)? Yes

Well, I have no clue who plays men's volleyball.
But ... does he play for UCLA or Stanford?

You're double dipping by asking two schools (and conferences) at once. It's a single question (a compound one) and I explained: it's not a conference, it's a Pac12 school. Compounded questions are illegal in twenty questions. You cannot use "or" to get two answers out of one question. You get one question for each of the following: Are they from a Big Ten school? Are they from a Pac 12 school? Do they go to UCLA? Do they go to Stanford? Your answer is no, and I'm putting you at 8 for each of these questions. Edit: *Is he, *Does he, for those who are pronoun averse.

They are not illegal.
I am not getting two answers. I am getting one. If the answer is "yes," he goes to UCLA OR Stanford. I still don't know which school. Just like when I asked if this person went to a B1G or Pac12 school.
We've been playing this way all along.
And you already said they went to a Pac12 or B1G school, so if you're changing your answer. I am starting over.
