I don't agree on Liz. Of course she is blatantly bias against Nebraska, but that's why its great when she is part of the Nebraska casts . . . getting to see her afterward lathered in crow is priceless. She's just jealous, nearly everything about WIsconsin volleyball is good. .. nearly everything about Nebraska volleyball is great. From the facilities, academic support, history and fan support Nebraska is better, and she knows it. I love watching her grind her teeth when she sees 8000 in the Devaney. And yes "insufferable" is a accurate descriptor, but don't you think it is awkward for her to continually come up on the short end of the Nebraska storyline? Everyone understands where she is coming from and IMO, its just hysterical. Did you seriously just respond to yourself? That’s borderline sick. Do you enjoy lying? putz

Reminder for anyone who thinks about switching to DirecTV - that means no Pac-12 Network.

Does anyone know when BTN announces their volleyball coverage schedule? A few weeks ago, Wisconsin's schedule page had BTN network logos next to several of their conference matches, and one non-conference match against either Baylor and Marquette. I just went back to check and those logos have been removed, so it's possible it's not done yet. The BTN website shows a schedule through 8/21, so I'd imagine they will release something in the next week, especially if they are planning on showing any matches from the first weekend of play.

This is just the start of the breakdown nation wide of college sports networks. I look forward to that happening. College Sports networks should be available on a subscription basis (either as an add-on option through cable providers, or streaming subscriptions). Cable providers shouldn't be forced to add conference networks to their basic lineup.

I'm always torn on whether I should stay home and watch the BTN games and save on admission, or go to the game and DVR it so that I can spot myself in the stands when I get home.

Reminder for anyone who thinks about switching to DirecTV - that means no Pac-12 Network. My Pac12 situation is awful. It’s not in HD. Anyone else? In Minnesota, I had it in HD with Comcast/Xfinity. In Arizona, I only had it in SD through Cox. (Though my Cox cable login allowed me to stream on my laptop, which I keep hooked up to my TV via HDMI so could get a pretty good quality picture, much better than the TV channel provided.) Now I live in Georgia and am with Comcast/Xfinity again and have HD again.

re - BTN schedule. Broadcast of several pre-conference matches would be nice AND would be wonderful if more conference double & triple header match broadcasts (even if announcers are basketball players). Let's hope the 2019 schedule is not a repeat of last year. 2018 BTN appearances: Nebraska: 9 Wisconsin: 10Penn State: 9 Minnesota: 6 Michigan: 4 Michigan State: 4 Ohio State: 3 Purdue: 3 Indiana: 2 Illinois: 2 Iowa: 2 Maryland: 2 Northwestern: 2 Rutgers: 1 Clear and compelling evidence that Wisconsin interns in the B1G office control not only intra-conference waiver decisions but also BTN scheduling. Where will it end?

I wish the overall quality of the BTN network's broadcasts were as good as the BYU sports network's (yes, there is such a thing) broadcasts. Really great HD quality and good announcers.

Some Clarity on BTN2go:2018If you go online to BTN2go: You can get access to BTN PLUS (a monthly subscription service), and BTN TV. BTN PLUS requires your log in info. (through your subscription) for access. BTN TV requires a verification login; You're automatically signing in with your 'TV Provider'. Games that are currently live on the BTN Network (TV), or were originally broadcast on the BTN Network (TV) can only be accessed by tying-in to your TV Provider, and are not available on/to BTN PLUS. This overall, is a small number of weekly matches. BTN PLUS (subscription) has available all of the other matches that were not broadcast on the BTN Network (TV): As long as the 'Home Team' is broadcasting them -> which is the majority of matches. What I like about BTN PLUS: You can watch the replays of previously played matches - not just live, and you have access to all BTN Sports - not just volleyball! Note: In Nebraska: All matches originally broadcast by 'NET' require a 'TV provider' sign-in. BTN2go Daily Schedule Link: www.btn2go.com/schedule 2019 Update2019 has some nice changes - * Online/ You can go online rather than having to watch BTN Sports on your TV Provider by visiting FoxSports.com, or by downloading the Fox Sports app. in order to watch 'live streaming' of televised games airing on BTN, FOX, or FS1. * With a BTN+ Subscription/ You have "Next Day, On-Demand Archives of Non-Televised and Televised Games" - You can now watch replays of previously broadcast BTN TV matches -> as soon as the next day. This wasn't an option in 2018. If you didn't personally record it, and BTN TV didn't replay it, the BTN TV match was gone. Link: www.btnplus.com/page/whatsnew

Clear and compelling evidence that Wisconsin interns in the B1G office control not only intra-conference waiver decisions but also BTN scheduling. Where will it end? The bad news for Badgers, probably 2020. The BIG intern plans to graduate May 2020 with BS in Cheesology and Craft Beer. The good news for Illini, she plans to continue her education and attend the University of Illinois to earn a BS and MS in Cannabis. I personally like seeing the best teams on TV more often. This being said, Illinois was not on TV enough. Some of the Wisconsin/Nebraska/Penn State games could have been given to Illinois.

These things are scheduled in advance and Illinois was ranked behind all of those teams in the preseason poll.
