Cleveland v. Golden State yet again. LeBronto vs Curry/Durant/Thompson ... LeBron has been unstoppable

If somehow LeBron can pull this off, it might be the greatest feat in nba history. To beat this team four times with his current support cast. Much like in 2007, I think it's more likely they get swept than win the series.

Game 7 at home and you shoot 17.9% (7 of 39) on 3s on your home court where you should be most comfortable shooting? Like all good Texans, the Rockets saw this and said "Hold My Beer" 7/44 15.9%

The 3-pointer can wreck a team's chances just as fast as it can benefit them.

The 3-pointer can wreck a team's chances just as fast as it can benefit them. They missed what, 25 straight at one point? Hitting just 10% of those would have made a huge difference. It's not like they were bad shots. Several were wide open. I think GS got a bit lucky with that. Their comeback was greatly helped by Houston's relentless three point shots. Granted, GS was hitting like crazy during that same time.

Granted, GS was hitting like crazy during that same time. No different in most other sports. Consider a volleyball team that uses tough serving to get an advantage. If they can't make their serves in a particular match, they end up having to choose between giving easy serves and losing that way or trying harder serves, serving out, and losing that way.

No way Chris Paul would have let his team shoot that many missed three’s. He would have recognized the situation and pushed the ball to the rim. Harden is a great player but he is not a leader on the court like Paul is.
I don’t see Cleveland beating GSW, they just matchup poorly. Bron pulls this off and he is the GOAT.

I think it will be more about GSW beating themselves. Frankly, some of their nonchalant play has been embarrassing at times. LeBron will not miss 20 shots in a row like the Rockets.

Some players slow the game down and some speed it up. If it was as simple as pointing it out then everyone would be a great Coach. Chris Paul is the best point guard in the NBA.

I'm saying he was there and could have told them to stop shooting. Maybe he did, maybe not. Maybe D'Antoni told them to keep shooting. Who knows. And by the way, the best point guard was on the other team.

The best pure point guard (control tempo of game, create shots for teammates, floor general, defense, etc.) is Chris Paul. There are better guards who can score - Westbrook, or shoot - Curry, but when you put all the key attributes at a high level a coach wants in a PG, CP3 has been the standard over the last 8-10 years and probably still has one or two years left at that level.

Happy to advance and move on. I'd put this right up there with OKC 2016 as the toughest series for this version of the Dubs to overcome. (And Klay had to play out of his mind in Game 6 for that one too.)
Going 0 for 27 on consecutive 3 point attempts was abysmal. I think I read FiveThirtyEight's breakdown of that and statistically it had like a 1 in 72,000 chance of happening. Houston's moved that needle a bit to beating the Dubs, maybe just a Chris Paul hammy away from doing that. Looking forward to playing them next year with hopefully both squads at full strength.

The thing I notice about GSW is their ball movement on offence is not as good as in the past. The ball gets stuck in Durants hands too much and the others do not cut and dive like they used to. Probably cause Durant can almost always crest his own shot. Golden State is a beautiful basketball team to watch when they let the ball do the work.
