No you should probably stay away from Vegas. I’d imagine you’re more of a Atlantic City gal. More like Provincetown!

I love Vegas, rarely go to the strip, except for spa time (seriously though, the spa's themselves are worth the trip to Vegas) and the obligatory overpriced shows when friends come to visit.

It's very easy to spend a week in Vegas, see great shows; eat at great restaurants; enjoy great outdoor activities; and never set foot on a casino floor or gamble a single dollar. It's not gambling that makes Vegas bad, it's the visitors. Agreed. Every time I see a tourist wearing a red MAGA hat, I want to throw up on their face.

FIFY. Well most of the time two BIG teams are in the finals so it does help with attendance in the Midwest. Wonder what Midwest attendance would look like without a BIG team there...(not that that's likely). A couple years ago, Stanford beat Texas in Columbus in front of over 17,000 fans. I meant no BIG team at the final four. I know there was a lot of people in Columbus when the weather sucked; I was there. But a lot of those people were Nebraska fans. Some teams will bring lots of fans regardless of local as will some not have many regardless of local. I do agree that having it closer to the middle of the country makes it easier for everyone travel-wise though.

You could have a FF of UCLA, USC, Cal and Pepperdine in Los Angeles and in the Midwest and I would still bet money that the Midwest site would draw a larger attendance than LA. I mean, Stanford was hosting a good regional last year with Utah (in-conference opponent), Texas (perennial FF contender) and Wisconsin (good fan base and consistent top 20 team) all in it and did you see their crowd? It was abysmal...(I know this is just one example, but you get the point)

However in the semi finals were Nebraska and Minnesota. Yes, I know he said finals; I am assuming he meant the final 4 as opposed to the final match as 2000 and 2013 were the only times to have 2 Big 10 teams in the final match.

I'm going to agree with Jen on this one. The Air Force sent me to Vegas several times for Red Flag exercises, and the only trip I enjoyed was when I rented a car to get out of town.
