Sara/MHP got a nice soft draw. Best team on their side is the Czechs and other than them, no one that is very good.
Kelly/Brit also have about as easy a match as you get in Round 2 of a four star to make the quarters.

What if the Swiss girls beat Canada 1? 🤔 That would be bad. Swiss are up 2. Their blocker has an entire roll of kt tape on her

Losing long rallies, getting blocked, oversets. This match should be a walk for them based on the matchup - since Anouk's defense is made for MHP's hitting - and they are struggling. I cant see them losing this, and hopefully they can work through some issues here

She has the physical traits to completely dominate at the net and side out at a very high percentage but that's just not the case lately. Also, her setting is all over the place. Makes life tough on Mel.

I think the last couple events thats true, but Mel has been getting blocked, hitting out, getting dug by Anouk a ton today Also Pavan is super awkward so long rallies can be a problem, like when she falls she literally gets up like a baby giraffe

Neither is at the top of their game right now. This is a grind and it shouldn't be. Sarah showing some fire after her serve goes straight into the net.

And as soon as I say this is a grind, the Canadians make it look easy at the end and win in straight sets. The All American match is up next

So if SP/MHP and Brit/Kelly both win their Round of 16 matches, they’ll meet again in the quarterfinals.

But the Swiss 2 team (Nina and Tanja) are slowly becoming the Swiss #1 team. I think they’ll see how the rest of the season progresses.

Completely missed that... Swiss 2 team loses to Russia 10-21, 17-21. That’s kinda embarrassing...
Both Swiss teams end up 17th in Warsaw.
