That is an intriguing field. Clemens and Vaught break up. That should be very interesting. Shane is a good pick up for Travis.

Marty Lorenz going old school with Pete DiVenere who hasn't played an AVP since 2010! Good guy and wish him & Marty good luck!

40 team Q, top 24 seeds only have to play 3 matches to get in. Like it. Lot of FL teams up for this.
BTW Andrei Belov is playing....his partner Jacek Ratajczak, the former Cal St Northridge middle....who is 7'2".

How about Ed, just sneaking past Ty/Piotr, all about them points. Jeff/Ben interesting pairing, it's brutal being just below MD level, these qualifiers are rough, anything can happen as we saw in Austin.

I dont follow indoor at all, but if this guy was an all american then he has a better foundation than Ryan did to be a BVB player, and he also played pro indoors. It doesn't look like he has much beach background - or if he does then Google is not aware, but its hard to believe that a 7'2 ex pro couldnt make some noise if he were committed and if he is playing with Andrei maybe he is at least dipping a toe in playing seriously? I'd love to know more, and yes I am absolutely one who believes if Ryan were 6'5 he couldn't get a AAA much less play AVP

Maybe 12-16 teams that wouldnt be a huge surprise if they qualified. If Andrei/Drago can't get in though that would be a real shame (into the qualifier I mean). Ty/Piotr are the only team I would bet money on getting in. Nice to see Hagen/Yoder running it back, I expect that team to make some of the bigger draws later this year, although I don't see them getting in this week.

Although today’s rules do give advantages to taller players. Makes me wonder what a guy like Leland Quinn could have done in the 90s if he played under today’s rules.

A west coast buddy of mine saw Jeff and Ben practicing and said they looked good together. Agree, brutal being just below MD level.

I'm wondering if Belov is working for Poland here, I'm sure this guy has a dual citizenship.
