Entry lists are posted! avp.com/event/gold-series-new-york-city-open/2018-avp-gold-series-nyc-open/Somehow Sara and Summer are seeded 1st. Then it’s Hochevar/Claes and then ATeam. Lauren Fendrick isn’t listed. Maria Salgado playing with Caitlin Ledoux. Nicole Branagh playing with Brandie Wilkerson. MHP and SP are #1 in the qualifiers. Uh... how in the world did MHP have 539 points already?!?! In that case, if MHP and SP come out of qualifiers, they play Summer and Sara in the first round.

And that’s not true, if they come out of the Qualifier they will be seeded 13 and play Day/Flint

Usually two wildcard entries too right?

MHP and SP already got FIVB ranking points from Huntington.
They’re getting AVP points too!
SP I get because she played a few AVP events last year.

If MHP and SP play AVP Seattle (as has been speculated) they could earn enough points to get them out of the qualifiers.

If MHP and SP play AVP Seattle (as has been speculated) they could earn enough points to get them out of the qualifiers. They'll be out of the Qs with a top 7 finish in NYC. MHP only has 1 tournament, and Pavan has 2 tournaments that she didn't get out of the Q to drop.

Did she get that same exceptional abilities green card that Pavan has? Or did the AVP just relax its rules?

They shouldn't have a problem getting out of Q. Last year SP was playing with different partners for AVP and flying back and forth from FIVB overseas to play. I remember her having a pretty crazy schedule last summer.

I'm guessing they are relaxing the rules to make things more competitive. A lot of the Canadian girls train in California anyway.

Also, any word on whether Nicole plans to be playing p1440? In her ESPN interview, Kerri acknowledges that AVP players won’t be playing.

Sara/MHP should get a WC. Imagine being the qualifier team playing well enough to get in as long as you don't run into a top 3 team in the world
