Russell and Anderson each with 16. Both working really well together.

Is Patch the worst server in the VNL, male or female? Come on this isn't fair. Give him some credit: He's easily been the worst server far before VNL. Don't take away from his legacy.

16-08 Russell js long 16-09 Smith js, McDonnell 1 tool way left 17-09 McDonnell js right-to-left wide. USA challenge ball on ... yes, exactly third-in, third-on, third-out ... looks like somebody's flag 18-09 McDonnell js bad pass deep, Stockton right cross blocked (triple) covered saved free, Russell bic mid-right not dug 19-09 McDonnell js bad pass, (Richards left)? dug, bad helpset tight right Patch pokes into wire not over 19-10 O'Dea jf, Jendryk 3 crossbody cut left bounce 20-10 Christenson js offspeed shanked left, Richards 3m B seam, Anderson standing 3m left, bad free over left, Anderson tip left line grazes antenna 20-11 Stockton js, Christenson 5m backset up right line Anderson over-the-shoulder right seam roofed 20-12 Stockton js, Anderson right cross touched wide. Our tempo looks infinitely better -- this is what we should look like 21-12 Anderson js, Richards 2m left seam bounce 21-13 Richards js, Russell left seam, Dosanjh dump on du tug over, Mote hits on 1 dug, ..., Smith left cross dug (E.Shoji), AUS 1 or dump E.Shoji pancake, Dosanjh power-dump on 1 sharp cross 21-14 Richards js tape over, Christenson dive-save E.Shoji helpset Patch right line tool to right sideboard, Richards ballet-dive touch Stockton saves free, Patch right seam bounce 22-14 Jendryk jf, Stockton D seam 22-15 Mote jf, Patch right line touched long 23-15 Patch js, O'Dea 3 turn mid-left bounce. With the match outcome already settled, both sides are putting on a show for the fans 23-16 Dosanjh jf overpass (Anderson), O'Dea(?) hit dug, Anderson left seam 24-16 Russell jf twist-shank deep (Richards), saved O'Dea middle slap off block, Smith right seam tool down 24-17 Smith js, blown 1 McDonnell whiffs but O'Dea blocks it, we cover ... Anderson left line tool left to bench, HC Lebedew catches it 25-17 = 3-1. USA -20+20+15+17 Australia. It's like a parallel-universe episode, where the away team finally return to their bodies

It is quite annoying see this guy from the service line, too bad to be true. Moreover, an opposite sometimes must be crafty, and he is not, he hit only with brutal force. Great potential, but kind a disappointment

Great potential, but kind a disappointment When he misses, it's bad. When it's on, he has a really high rate of scoring points with poor passing from the opponent. He's progressed a lot in the service game. I completely disagree on hitting. I don't see much or being crafty from any opposite that isn't with power. Some matches aren't as good as others, but he did spark the team to victory over Japan and played well with Anderson gone.

Canada losing to Germany last night helps and isnt a surprise. Germany has been playing very well and with a ton of energy.
This is a grueling tourney and the back to back to back intense play with ridiculous miles travelling is wearing on the players and teams throughout the tourney. I would expect Russell and Anderson to start again with Patch and Smith and Holt in the middle but I wouldn't mind seeing Jendryk as he is really progressing.

2018/06/10 SunHmph. Australia-Germany is not being streamed on Flo? Flo even set aside a game URL id for it between 6188093-argentina-vs-korea and 6188095-iran-vs-russia. But manually typing in the obvious transformation yields a 404.

2018/06/10 Sun Canada: --3h Steven Marshall ++13h Ryley Brendan Barnes --21s Brett James Walsh ++8s Jay Blankenau --11m Daniel Cornelius Jansen Vandoorn ++12o Gavin Schmitt
Canada still have three MBs rostered this week. Vigrass started all 3 matches last week, so he's surely M1. Vandoorn started the first 2 sets of Canada's 1st match vs. Italy, then Van Berkel started the rest of last week, and both matches this week. Maybe Vandoorn got injured, and that's why he's out? So look for Vigrass and Van Berkel again.

Flo's Ottawa stream audio goes live at 12:45 PDT, but the video remains blue-screened until 12:55. So you hear all kinds of PA crowd cheer oddness I think Smith just won the coin toss (vs. Sanders). Warmups.

Pretty clean vb so far. A few hitting errors from Russell but both teams have low error rate on serve and attack it seems.
