I dont know if this thread is where to put this, but here it is anyways. It seems that the challenge system can’t make the call of “who touched the ball last”. Today during the Canada-Bulgaria match it was 27-27 in the third set with BUL up 2-0 (embarrassing that Canada would be down 0-2 to this Bulgarian team, but whatever). There was a joust in which the Bulgarian player touched the ball last, so Canada challenged it. However, the challenge system called a touch (obviously 🙄) and gave the point to Bulgaria. The replay showed the Bulgarian player touch it last (that’s what I saw after two replays anyways). So is it that you can’t challenge who touched it kat anyways? Or is it the ref deciding himself after watching the replay?

FIVB says: Bulgaria +22+19+27 Canada.
As for touching the ball "last", was it a joust or wipe shot, with the final contact nigh-simultaneous? There's an arcane rule that the last toucher shall be deduced from the ball's final vector, so that the human ref need not have a gyrfalcon's flicker fusion rate to see it in real-time. So if the contact was nigh-simultaneous and the ball went out on Bulgaria's side of the net, it's deemed that Canada contributed more oomph, hence is at fault.
