The Golden Knights were too much for my Bearcats.

It should be noted that UCF really rips off with their live stream. Not only do they charge $6.95 for a one day pass, you can only sign in from one device, which they don’t tell you up front. The majority of teams don’t charge for that service. This is the first I’ve encountered that had a device limit. Bad form, UCF!

Big congrats to UCF. I didn’t think they could keep up the winning with so many close 5 setters but they pulled it out. Really impressive job by a young team.
I think Cinci has under performed. They are having a great year but I think they should have won the league. Now they play Tulane for 2nd place Friday.
Tulsa and WSU come up short for the NCAA’s.
Friday’s match will likely determine if the league gets 2 or 3 bids. Blue says IF Tulane wins their rpi will be between 48-50. I think if they win out, the resume pulls them in by a whisker. 14 wins in a row. 2 top 25 wins. 2nd place in AAC. Undefeated in Otober and November.
The COY pick will also be interesting. UCF has had a great year. Starting 2 or 3 freshmen. Pre-season picked 5th I believe. Tulane was picked 10th and might finish 2nd starting 4 freshmen.
Really hope the league gets 3 bids. It’s been an exciting year. The AAC is moving Fast!

UCF locks up title. Tulane at Cinci was all that I thought it would be. Tulane gets to 5th set and was up 8-4 at the switch. Lost 15-13. Won most of the stats: Hit %, blocks, kills. The Jordan show put down the last 4 points to win. Tulsa and UConn up. Tulsa is in the mid 50’s so they need to win out but highly doubt it will matter. WSU and Temple. WSU needs to win out to get to .500. Does the NIVC require above.500?

My Bearcats should have walked away with this title. 5 seniors and Jordan Thompson should have dominated this league. Tulane was good, and had plenty of experience to make a run, but not even close to Cincinatti. The biggest mystery is how is UCF even a contender with 4 freshman and 5 of 7 new starters?

anyone know if Minn gave Jordan Thompson an offer? Her stats this year are off the chart. I mean, gee whiz. Why isn't she a Gopher?

I picked Cinci to run away with it. They under achieved. Whats is crazy about Tulane is they start 4 freshmen and 2 Sophmores!! I watched every team play in the league at least 4-6 times. UCF has a great year but did not dominate matches. From what I saw Tulane was the most complete, best team in the league. If they had a conference tournament they would be my pick. The league was pretty young overall (except for Cinci) and should be even better next year.

I don’t know if I seen a conference where so many of the top pre-season teams picks were off. Wichita picked 1 finished 7th. Temple was picked 3rd and finished 10th (injuries hurt them). SMU was picked 4th and finished 5th. ECU picked 6th finished 9th.
UCF picked 5th finished 1st. Tulane picked 10th finished 3rd. Tulsa picked 6th finished 4th.
I said all year they missed big on Tulsa and Tulane.

Do the Bearcats have any chance at an at-large bid?

Do the Bearcats have any chance at an at-large bid? Pretty sure they’re 100% in... their RPI is top 25 I believe. They’re a lock.

The AAC gets 6 teams into post season. 2 to NCAA and 4 to NIVC. I think this league should get 3 in each year to the NCAA’s. They start a conference tournament next year and I bet that helps it happen. They had 6 teams in the top 100 and with them playing each other in a tournament will only increase rpi points.
Good luck to these teams in post season!

Good luck to these teams in post season! I hope they don't have more than 8 teams in the conference tournament because for the top 4 teams it could hurt their RPI also having to play the 4 worst teams in the conference. If Tulane had another match against UCF or Cincinnati it probably would have gotten them in this year.
