Foluke was one of our best middles before going there. She could run a slide. Rhamat cannot. Hope she gets what she's looking for, but not sure it was the right move. Great to see she landed somewhere. Would like to see how she continues to grow. Rhamat will have a good exerience I’m hopeful for. Everyone has their own opinion but she’ll be fine. Good luck to her! Rhamat up to now is not a starter. She gets to play once in a while in a half rotation. Her team has 5 MBs including her and all of four Japanese have been part of Japan NT program. She may be the most athletic but she can’t beat them to the preferred system of the coach. This is not good for her career going forward as other club teams will have a second thought hiring her. She should’ve chosen 2nd tier European clubs that have more similar playing style with Florida.

Ogbogu has won MVP for three matches in a row. She is having a great season in Poland so far. I know the Polish league is not a top league in Europe, so I wonder how she will be like when facing stronger teams in Italian or Turkish league. Honestly I really hope to see her back to Italy next season.

Honestly I really hope to see her back to Italy next season. Yep, she's been doing phenomenal in her team. They are also playing in CL hence she gets to play against other strong European teams. The thing is her teammates are not that strong individually speaking. Rhamat up to now is not a starter. She gets to play once in a while in a half rotation. Her team has 5 MBs including her and all of four Japanese have been part of Japan NT program. She may be the most athletic but she can’t beat them to the preferred system of the coach. She was able to turn the tide and made a great debut on court as full time middle. She got 10 points with 3 blocks and more than 50% hitting efficiency. I actually though she made more blocks than what the stats showed. Keeping my fingers cross that she maintains her position now. Her team lost but you can really see that they are closing the gap with her at the front of the net.

Alhassan has freak athleticism - but her mechanics of the game just aren’t there. This is coming from someone who adores her. Not playing isn’t helping her. Surely an Italian team sees her potential and picks her up as a sub (at least for now).

Alhassan just got her first win yesterday. Blocking is superb but her attacks need improvement. Her A and B quicks are a but lackluster but her slide is now her major weapon.
Happy that she was able to solidify her position in the starting six.

Man that first set was money for Praia Clube. Minas woke up in set 2 and didn’t back down. Having a healthy Natalia back on the Brazilian NT will help them a lot! How come Bruna (Minas Opp) isn’t playing on the NT? She was solid!

The Brazilian league looks weak compared to the Italian league this year. IMHO, Brazilian league has always been behind Italy and now Turkey. But they are the third best in the world. China is gaining grounds though.

Seem's like the older talent is ageing out or playing in other leagues and the up and coming young domestic talent isn't quite at an elite level. This is why the Russian NT is currently in decline.
Any Americans playing in the Russian league?
