Well vbprisoner since you are calling posters out- who voted for Wisconsin #1 based just on this past week alone? 🙄 I was just pointing out that some on the teams biggest fans were their harshest critics in voting. That shows there really is no homerism at work in the voting. I am sure the voter who voted Wisconsin #1 will speak up... they always do! LOL I'd be more than happy to explain my particular reasoning for Washington. I had them initially at 21 in the preseason poll, San Diego at 23. I don't think two matches, at home, to start the season, against a team ranked below you warrants a huge leap in the polls.

I agree with your logic 100% and ranked them 17th. I also don't believe Oregon losing to two top 5 teams -Texas 3-1 and Nebraska 3-0 - warrants them falling more than a couple spots because they are still a very good team.

I don't know how you doofs manage to put out a poll. I realize it's for fun and all, but dang, the only matches I watched were Hawaii vs. KState. Didn't have time for any other match. Certainly didn't have time to watch the likes of Creighton, Marquette, Kentucky, or Louisville to even assign them any sort of ranking. And I can't even name a single player on Stanford's team. Ditto Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Penn State, Baylor, Washington, UNI, etc. The list goes on. I watched several matches including the important Texas/Florida match. I took in some of the USC matches, and watched Stanford/American. I also look through threads on matches to figure out why a team underperformed or vice-versa. I realize there is a lot of whining in these threads but there are reliable posters who tell it like it is.

Nobody said anything about me not having Hawaii somewhere in my submission? See folks, I take this responsibility serious.

I would be interested in the case for Colorado? I think I heard they played short handed - is there an injury involved. I know they lost one of their best players before the season began (that they aren't getting back). This weekend game scores give me little confidence in them as a top 25 team. Or is their something about Wyoming that I didn't realize?

I bet if Easport put out a Women's NCAA D1 volleyball video game and you liked the game you would be able to name most of the players! LOL

Glad to see Washington State breaking the Top 25 - I had them in my Preseason Top 25. And sad to see Louisville dropped out... after three convincing sweeps.

Regardless, I question whether they'll be as hot as we once thought without Shebby.

Wisconsin should be ranked 4th. Played same opponents as Minnesota and had a double digit difference in points compared to Mn scores. Wisconsin was also 6th in pablo end of year rankings and lost 1 starter in Bates and added Haggerty this year Minnesota was 11th in pablo and has had to replace 3 players off that team. And no...im not being serious.
