I filled out my ballot in 3 minutes and guessed on a lot of the entries including the total points. Has anyone ever gone back to back as winners?

I want to know who the 7% were who really thought that Syracuse was going to beat Iowa State and why. Also Iowa over Iowa State. Did ISU have an injury this week or what? Bad week for the Cyclones.

Has anyone ever gone back to back as winners? Since the 2009 season, there had only been 6 2-week-winners. None was back to back, and only 2 of the 6 became the eventual overall winner of the season. 2011 tidecat (wks 8,10) 2012 cajun (wks 4,11) 2014 kolohekeiki (wks 4,13) 2015 (R)uffda! (wks 2,14) 2015 sulo (wks 9,11) 2017 redcard (wks 3,11)

Syracuse's losses: BYU 23-25, 20-25, 20-25 USC 25-22, 27-25, 14-25, 14-25, 13-15 Marquette 17-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-25 Iowa 25-18, 15-25, 25-19, 19-25, 10-15 With the above scores in mind, it's perhaps not so unreasonable to pick both Syracuse and Iowa over this year's Iowa State, though only 4 of the 8 who picked Syracuse also picked Iowa.

Definitely a good pick if you're looking to win the contest. You can't win by just picking the faves.

On the other hand, Syracuse's only previous wins were over New Hampshire, Wyoming and UConn, and they had a Pablo of 101, compared to Iowa State's 22, so... I'm going with insider knowledge.

I went upset heavy this week and didn’t fare too well, but I picked Cuse over ISU cause I thought it had the potential to be a trap match. (Sunday early start time type of deal.) I also really like Ebangwese.
