Winds of change blowing thru the Midwest? There's gotta be more than just this to go on. 8-9 states, thousands of schools...

winds in the Midwest = Lake Erie College Cyclones (Ohio)? It is the Lake Erie Storm and I doubt very much this is it... I concur... Doubt this is accurate...

Winds of change blowing thru the Midwest? I alluded to one a few days ago... But it's still not public... So it could be the same...

Hmm. Interesting hire in the same way the Nova Southeastern hire was. I know nothing about this coach, but they hired an assistant from a team that ETSU would've beaten pretty handily the last two years.

She has a brilliant playing pedigree and has played/worked for several outstanding coaches who will no doubt become excellent mentors. She is also wonderful person-those SAs will be lucky to have her!

Doesn't change the fact that you're hiring an assistant from a program worse than the one they are stepping into (and I would guess that USF had double the budget to work with as well).

I was wondering if Ronda would ever make the jump. Such an incredible coach.......successful everywhere she goes! Can't say enough about her. So excited for her and can't wait to see her be successful at the next level!

I don't know Rosen to say any of those things about him... But I've heard them from more than one person... So I don't doubt them

He's not a poor mans B, he's not a D2 version of B. Nova got what they want and that's fine, leave it be. Inviting a comparison to an All-American/HOF/Professional who has worked with several truly great coaches is not fair to Rosen. He seems to have worked his way up and now he's back home in Florida as a head coach... congrats to him. Let's not try to embarrass the guy because he isn't Benavia Jenkins.

I've seen little evidence that what you did as a player indicates anything about how you'll be as a coach, so I'm just basing this on coaching resume. ETSU hired an assistant from a program that went 26-32 in the AAC while she was there to take over a program that just got an at large bid to the NCAA tournament. That seems like a giant stretch to me, but I guess we'll see what happens.

Not even close dude. Brian didn’t have an amazing career where he was an all American several times over. He didn’t play professionally overseas. He didn’t work or play for some of the top coaches in the game so let’s stop trying to compare apples to oranges. You can say he is a great person and SAs are lucky to have him but that is where the comparison stops.
