Is it for next season or the second half of the current season? This current season I would LOVE to see that!

Lowe starting for Imoco against Monza today. First set 25-22 Imoco. woloz already is showing a very good connection with Lowe and her attack has been good. Floor defense a little out of sync. Hill back to her stellar performance that makes her one of the best OH2's in Europe. The low error efficiency of Imoco was impressive. With the added depth of Lowe and the return of Foli, one of the best front pop-up hitters means Imoco has the opportunity to make a strong challenge in CL again this year regardless to their recent loss.
Rachel and Hancock playing well for Monza but they lack the fire power to finish at the end.

Imoco 25-21 set 2. Tied at 20 Imoco amps up the play at the end. Imoco is known to have a very fast offense similar to the USNT but their setter, Woloz, is once again showing world class form. Imoco runs more pipe's and Woloz seems to have a more free form, or less rigid approach to her setting than what we see from the USNT. The angle of attack and one-on-one blocking is a testament to the confidence that Santelli has in her decision making within his system. Lowe continues to have a very strong start with almost instant connection with Woloz. She is certainly the best back up OP in Europe as of today.

Monza 25-19 set 3. Monza really amped up their defense. Bujis, still with a heavily taped left hand, in and solid in attack. Lowe cooled off this set and Imoco's error count went up. Rachel playing very well and Hancock QB'ing a solid performance. Ortalani still a top Italian player although prone to some inconsistency.

Imoco rallies from 18-21 to win 25-23. Fabris shows why Lowe will continue to be a backup at OP. Sylla a downgrade from Bricio was backrow subbed for a defender at the end. She's the weakest link for Imoco currently. The Italian League is the best league in Europe top to bottom and there are some exciting young players on the rise. CL action between the top Italian and Turkish teams should be superb.

Fabris in for Lowe at Monza 13-9. I only got to watch the end of this match and what an end it was! That point to tie 22-22 for Conegliano was nuts. Can't wait to watch the match to get to see Lowe and then get to watch that ending again. I've said it a lot on here, but Wolocz is just insane. She really elevates the play of the whole team when she's on and clicking.

Danielle Cuttino is now sharing court time with Paulina Rahimova in Pomi. A little more fine tuning with her overall attacks and she can challenge Lowe in NT. Her backrow attack is superb btw.
Her development in Italy is so much better than what Payne is having in Brazil right now.

Being a Purdue fan I may be a little biased but I would like to think Cuttino’s ceiling is higher than Paynes. While both are gifted athletes, Cuttino just seemed to have more physicality.

How do you think about Atkinston? I only watched several video clips of her plays, she reminds me of Cuttino a lot. Both are very tall, with big arms. Cuttino was a first team AA in 2017, and Atkinston was a first team AA in 2018. Atkinston recently signed with Galatasary, arguably a top 4/5 team in the Turkish league. I am glad to see both of them playing overseas. Italian and Turkish leagues are the top 2 leagues in the world. If they can gain enough amount of time being on court, there's no doubt that they will both make progress.

Cuttino got a late start in vball and was a middle - yeah her backcourt defense is lacking. She is a crazy athlete and hope she gets better.
Excited to see Atkinson play it will be interesting to see how she competes at this level - she is ALOT slower than Cuttino and teams will exploit that. In her defense - she has made HUGE strides in all aspects of her game when she came on board at Purdue -kudos to the coaching staff for developing these players.
