This Thursday (November 1), there will be a few interesting matches to watch: 1. Novara vs Scandicci (thought to be a match between 2 of the top 3 teams) 2. Busto Arsizio vs Monza (both two teams have many great players, very competitive) 3. Pomi vs Bergamo (Also two very competitive teams. Both two teams didn't have a good first week, but I don't think they were in their best forms on Sunday, not even good. This Thursday I expect both to be much better). All matches start at 17pm Central European Time.
There are about 14 American players in this year's A1 league, and even more former NCAA players!

Missed watching the matches live midday yesterday and now can’t find replays on LVFTV.com. Not sure what is up there. Maybe it takes them a while to post the replays? There’s nothing newer than summer. The full match replays are available on LVFTV now.

When I was watching the match, I felt like Washington still had some problems connecting with her setter, especially her slides, on which she tipped a lot. The A-quicks were much better though.

Some American open hitters showed a good start. Kudos to Mitchem and Megan.

I don't know if they show replays but Flovolley picks up the LVFTV and shows it live. Can someone confirm if they show replays on demand?

Haak seems to continue where she left off last season...
If Sweden doesn't get much better, Haak might end up being the most unfairly overlooked and underestimated superstar in female volleyball, because in modern volleyball, you can't be a true superstar with just your club achievements. No matter how many dream teams and MVPs she gets in Italian league, she will never be mentioned in the same breath as Zhu, Boskovic or Egonu if her NT is not even guaranteed to even qualify for European Championship, let alone do something at the Big 3 of FIVB competitions.

Haak is in a difficult situation. She has amazing talent and is already showing great potential. She's going to be like Kim Yeon Koung, except Korea was able to provide supporting roles to help Kim at the Londom Olympics. Right now, I don't think Sweden can do that in this current generation of top teams.
