And for the Husker fans who would like to see Kadie Rolfzen play in China, this match was played yesterday between Tianjin and Rolfzen's team Henan. Henan is usually at the bottom of the standings.
The reason for the low attendance is that this match is being played at a neutral site of Liaoning as Liaoning is hosting this tournament. Liaoning is the name of the province and the city is called Shenyang, which is one of the coldest cities in northeast China.

Henna is a very young team, they are mostly all 18-20 years old. Katie and Bell are probably the 2 oldest on the roster.

That's a lot of siblings.
What do the current laws in China say with regard to having kids these days?
Do they still have family limits or do they make exceptions for farmers? Currently, the limit is two children. However, the policy isn't being enforced very strictly these days. In the past, and possibly currently as well, farmers do have exception...specially if they have daughters.

In the past, and possibly currently as well, farmers do have exception...specially if they have daughters. So they can keep trying till they have a son to help them with farm work? That is my understanding, yes. There were quite a few exceptions to the rule. But after (I think it was) the Sechuan earthquake where many lost their only child the govt decided to review this law and subsequently change it. Funny part is I asked my office worker if they plan on having another child and everyone said no because it’s too expensive to raise a child now. Specially a son in Shanghai because traditionally the parents provides a house for the son. Enforcement of the one child policy could be harsh, but only if it’s reported. My wife has 3 siblings and they were constantly harassed by the family planning bureau while growing up. Didn’t help that their neighbor at one point reported them. The bureau would come knocking in the middle of the night to question them, and my wife said she lied on a few occasions giving the authorities a different surname than her sisters. Said her father was jailed because they didn’t have the money to pay the fine. Employers even have the right to fire an employee who is found to have violated the OCP, while on the other hand must give the female employee 2 weeks off for a forced abortion. Have a friend who was fined like 2million RMB for having a second child years before the change, was tempted to ask if he got a refund. Best not as it’s a sore subject.

Jiangsu is not having a great stretch, with back-to-back losses to Tianjin and Shandong and now Shanghai. And don't forget Jiangsu won the league championship just two seasons ago. The slide in performance is quite noticeable. Hui Ruoqi's retirement seems to have a big impact on the team.
