By convention, the team listed in the front should be the host, so I guess the Feb 19 match will be in Shanghai.

I wouldn't be surprised if Yuan Xinyue joined Jiangsu again like last year. Maybe Yan Ni too since they are weak in the middle, though I doubt their setter Diao Linyu can create the connection like Ding Xia.

Zheng Yixin, a middle blocker, is joining Tianjin from Fujian, that I just got news of. Fujian is a weak team in the league but Zheng was a standout and one of the leading scorers in the league, as well as a NT member, so not a surprise they got her. Although I heard news that Zheng had wanted to go to Jiangsu for the finals, guess that didn't worked out.

How is it that players can swap teams during the league?

How is it that players can swap teams during the league? Yeah, sounds weird, but it's a funny rule in the Chinese league. Those teams qualified for the elimination rounds can pick 1 or 2 players from other teams during their elimination matches.

I also heard that the Thailand League invited her to join, but i guess she declined that as well. Former NT setter Wang Na if I'm not mistaken will go to play there.

Those teams qualified for the elimination rounds can pick 1 or 2 players from other teams during their elimination matches. It certainly helps increase the level of competition in my opinion. Teams can add players that can help fix the missing link on their team. Like last year, Liu Xiaotong joined Tianjin. Her experience and skills improved the second OH position for them. Even though Li Yingying was the main focal point, she provided support that I dont think Chen Liyi would've been able to do.

So members of eliminated teams can join teams in the final four? It's basically a temporary transfer that ends at the end of the season then those players go back to their original team. Teams can select 1 to 2 players that they want to join them. Players who've been eliminated and are not picked up during this transfer usually begin training with Lang Ping if invited.

Middle Hu Mingyuan and setter Sun Haiping from Liaoning will join Shanghai. Though not officially announced, it seems that Ding Xia and Wang Mengjie will join Beijing. I understand Beijing's need for a better libero, but I guess the team isn't also satisfied with both of the current setters.

Well, what is this, my Chinese friend sent me this news article with a photo. I know some Chinese, but my command of it is not good enough. I couldn't really understand until I translated the page into (imperfect) English. Not ideal, but the translated version tells you enough of what is going on. So what is going on? The photo here is of Beijing Baic Motor, one of the teams that are in the final 4 of the Chinese League. Notice there is a foreigner there? Yup, it's everyone's favorite coach, Karch. Why did he traveled all the way to China? Why, to observe how Dixon and Kingdon are doing, of course: sports.sina.com.cn/others/volleyball/2019-01-29/doc-ihrfqzka2111046.shtmlGoogle translate: A few days ago, the Beijing Auto Volleyball Club sent a number of photos of the team members and coaches to the fans on their official Weibo. Some netizens found a familiar figure after reading the photos - American women's volleyball coach Kirari. Why did he appear in the Beijing team, Sina Sports interviewed a Beijing women's volleyball team member for the first time, she told the reason why Kirari came here - "I am looking at the status of the US team players."
This season, the Beijing team introduced three foreign aids, namely, Dickson, the main attacker and the Lulk. The first two players have been selected for the US national team. Dixon also participated in the 2018 World Championships with the team. In this season's league, Dickson has been stable and has become the main offensive of the Beijing team. She has certain strength in offense and block, and is one of the heroes of the Beijing team to enter the semi-finals. In contrast, Kington did not play as many times as Dixon. The Beijing team has five main players, and the strength of Kington is not the most outstanding among the five.
The player said to Sina Sports: "He just wants to come to China once, look at the status of the American team players, and then go to Italy, Turkey and other countries to see the status of the American team players." As everyone knows, Zhu Ting's Wakif There are American team players Robinson in the bank. I don't know if Kirari will specifically observe Robinson's state.
After coming to the Beijing team, Kirari also watched the training of the Beijing team. This is also a good opportunity for him to observe Dickson and Kingston. "He saw the training, but he didn't say anything." The player said.
It is reported that Kirari should also go to Shanghai once, the Shanghai team foreign aid Murphy is also a member of the US team. "He came here himself, didn't bring a team member, didn't know how long he would stay in Beijing, he should go to Shanghai."
Sina Sports also verified a staff member in the Shanghai team. The response was: "He really seems to be coming to Shanghai to see Murphy, but he doesn't know if he wants to come to the team."

Its official, Ding Xia and Wang Mengjie to Beijing. No reports yet on any transfers for Jiangsu. My guess is that it will be a Tianjin vs Beijing final.

Or are they simply happy with their current roster? Yuan Xinyue would've at least been a good option for them. I still wonder about Zhang Changning's injury considering that she's been in that leg brace since this past summer.
