Schwerin had ZERO answer for Lowe. Playing the last three sets she scored 19pts on 33 swings for a 58% success rate with only 4 total errors (2 on serve / 2 attacking) and 2 blocks. The only player with a higher success rate was Danesi with 68%. Schwerin is not what I would call a top tier team but still.....Lowe came out and delivered for her team in a 3-2 victory. Take this with whatever grains of salt you like. Still a good showing from Lowe. Can't wait for Flo to get the replay going so I can watch it! Flo didn’t even air it yesterday, so I doubt there will be a replay =\

Typical Flo.

I can’t wait for flo to fail and go away. It it total garbage but it’s all I’ve got at the moment. Subscription ends in May. I’ll be looking for other streaming outlets.

But the question is, are there alternative streaming outlets? Yes, there are. For example, EurovolleyTV broadcasts all men and women's Champions League games. But it's geo-blocked in Canada and US. I still bought the subscription, and I just need to set the geo-location overriding of my chrome browser before I watch the games. It worked perfectly fine for me.

Me too. However I do not know how to do all of that fancy "geo-location overriding". So for now Flo is all I have.

Good. I hate geographical blocks. Me too. However I do not know how to do all of that fancy "geo-location overriding". So for now Flo is all I have. Click the upper right of your chrome and it should show a menu of many options. Find More Tools -> Developer Tools -> Sensors. Under "Sensors" there is Geolocation. The default is no override, but you can choose one of the presets locations from London, Berlin, Shanghai, etc. Or you can also set a custom location by specifying the latitude and longitude. And of course, free VPNs like Hola also work.

What does everyone think about Conegliano’s chances of a quarterfinals spot now that they dropped another match this time to Scandicci? It seems like pool B and D are tough pools. Pools A and C seem like a cake walk for Vakifbank and Novara at this point. Pool E is intriguing but I don’t see Dinamo Moscow or Fenerbahce going the distance.
Does anyone know the formula for the quarters? As in what determines who will face whom? Bracket positioning?
As I understand it there were fewer teams participating last year.
I need to know all of the things!

Does anyone know the formula for the quarters? As in what determines who will face whom? Bracket positioning? As I understand it there were fewer teams participating last year. I need to know all of the things! According to the 2019 official communication, the top 4 advance, then the next 3 teams with the most points, and then the host (actually don't see anything explicit about that but feels like a safe assumption). I didn't find any details about how the quarterfinalists are paired. So of the below 5 teams, 3 qualify. I put their current points in parenthesis, who they play in the final round, and what the result of that match-up was the first time. Dinamo Kazan (10 points) plays Eczacibasi Vitra - 1-3 loss (+0 points) ***Eczacibasi has secured first place in their pool, they may rest at least 1 of Kim/Jordan/Tijana Dinamo Moscow (10 points) plays Chemik Police - 3-2 victory (+2 points) Allianz Stuttgart (9 points) plays Maritza PLOVDIV - 3-1 victory (+3 points) Budowlani ŁÓDŹ (8 points) plays Minchanka MINSK - 3-0 victory (+3 points) Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO (8 points) plays ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ - 3-0 victory (+3 points)Stuttgart and Moscow seem like the surest bets to advance. That leaves Kazan, Lodz and Imoco vying for the 3rd spot. Kazan has 10 points but plays Eczacibasi who have secured 1st place in the pool. If they start in full force, I think Kazan gets zero points. If they start back-ups, Kazan could pick up a point or two, which means they become the 3rd team (they beat Imoco and Lodz based on set ratio if all teams tie at 11 points). If Kazan gets zero points and Lodz and Imoco both pick up 3 points, it comes down to set ratio. Scenarios break down like this: Scenario | Result | Imoco wins 3-0, Lodz wins 3-1 | Imoco advances | Imoco wins 3-0, Lodz wins 3-0 | Lodz advances | Imoco wins 3-1, Lodz wins 3-1 | Lodz advances | Imoco wins 3-1, Lodz wins 3-0 | Lodz advances |
Long story short, if Lodz wins 3-0, Imoco is out.

Long story short, if Lodz wins 3-0, Imoco is out. Thank you for this! I’m rooting for Imoco to sneak in. Who is your pic for the two teams playing in the final? I would love to see Eszacibasi play either Novara or Conegliano in the final.
