I mean, you could respond to him informing that it’s a fair point instead of responding in a childish way? Good to know there wasn’t a schedule conflict, at least last year. Childish? I beg to differ. This is not about the point, this is about a particular poster's history.

Even if we are committed to going all-out in the Finals cuz USAV needs the $1 million, we could use the B squad for at least one weekend and still be fine. I totally agree. I still don’t get why Karch won’t just rest all of the Olympic vets except maybe Lowe who is still getting back in shape and Robinson if she is still playing Libero. I really hope Kelsey moves back to playin on the left and we get an actual libero trained up now. Really pulling for Mary Lake to make the cut during the NT tryout!

Honestly I’m fine with the conflicts. All of us want to see other younger talent playing in the VNL anyways. It won’t happen because Karch will want to “defend” their 2018 gold.....which is acinine. 🤷🏻♂️ Realistically the only rookie I’d care about missing because of this “conflict” would be Carlini. All the vets can (and should) be left off the roster some weeks, including week 1. And if it were that big of a deal then fine, bring Hancock and Poulter week 1. Karch has absolutely no interest in offering rest to athletes between their professional seasons and the VNL, regardless of when their pro teams's schedules finish up, and we shouldn't expect a change... despite coming off the worst major performance in 15-20 years. Winning the million is too important for his ego.

So is it best 2/3 for the Quarterfinals and Semifinals and then just a one-and-done, winner takes all, championship? Conegliano/Eczacibasi matches are going to be really fun to watch! It's too bad they got paired up in the Quarterfinals. Either one could make it to the final, I think.

I honestly can't remember what they do.. there's always the golden sets and weird random rules they got over there.

It's a Home-Away series for the Quarters and Semis (two matches - if there's a tie in points, then they do the Golden Set which is first to 15 played immediately after the end of the second game) The final is just a single match.

Ah yes, the golden set! Should be exciting! I wish the matches were this week.

Y’all really think Imoco won’t beat Eczacibasi?!
I don’t think Eczacibasi is the same without Ogjenovic.
Imoco is probably a stronger team than they were last year.
Novara will have to face Vakifbank in the semi’s. Those matches will be crazy.
Who do y’all think will win out of Fenerbahçe and Scandicci?

Imoco SQUEAKED into the Quarterfinals... they have a very high ceiling but their CEV play has been shaky so far. I don't think either team is the heavy favorite but it's very understandable if posters are picking Eczacibasi. Boskovic, Larson and KYK are the best pin trio in the world and against most, should be able to make up for Eczacibasi's "meh" setting situation.

Roster wise I think Scandicci has a slight upper hand, just a little than Fener, but then again it could go either way in my opinion. Haak against Vargas will be a fun match up.

Novara has the biggest swing... They can lose to everyone or beat anyone depending on which version of Egonu shows up.

Has anyone been watching CL through Flo? Have they been streaming every game live?
