Simo owns that spot and the only player that looked close to outperforming her in the back row was Campeau. And May is definitely a 6-rotation player if you want to win. No telling where Mosser lands.

What I would like to see is:
S - Chang Opp - Harrer OH1 - May OH2 - Battle but likely Mosser gets first crack MB - Gates MB - Ryan L - Simo
No shocks I know. Build up the kids in their roles and go from there. Campeau/Hinkle compete for DS role, perhaps back row for Harrer. This isn't brain surgery, get that talent comfortable in those roles and they will succeed. If he experiments for over half the year, it will be lost again.

I’m interested in how tough Sealy schedules OOC after not making the tournament.

Im hoping UCLA still comes to Hawaii. I know the storm really ruined their season in the long run, and I hope that is not a deterent for sealey.

Instead of playing @ Hawaii and vs. Kansas State (neutral) they got Gonzaga twice on their home floor, and STILL finished ineligible for the tournament. Not to mention, they were having some trouble with a weak Zags team at home. I don’t think UCLA would have went 3-0.

UCLA had been over-ranked and it was obvious. But, Hawai'i started their season a bit of a hot mess, and maybe Lane was a factor but I think more they weren't used to the 6-2 they were trying to run. They were trying to figure out their roles and identity in a new system with new starters. I think UCLA would have gone through them like a hot knife through butter at that point. Although later on in the season a Hawai'i -UCLA match-up would have been even odds or better for Hawai'i. Kansas State though was sharp out of the gate and ready to roll, and I think would have been a tough match-up for UCLA in the season opener. Kansas State later proved to be highly inconsistent, but they looked ready for the opener in Hawai'i. Gonzaga might have been a tougher match-up for UCLA on a neutral court. I wondered at the time if Sealy was happy for the opportunity to back out of that tournament.

Light has been replaced by Darkness. Eventually, for all of us, everything goes dark. Consider the line that is repeated three times at the very end if the Hollow Men by T S Eliot: This is the way the world ends

April [Spring Training] is the cruellest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing Memory and desire, stirring Dull roots with spring rain.
