I caught the same thing. Interested where she goes, she was a clutch performer last season She's still on the Oregon roster, so maybe she just didn't want to go to Europe this summer She’s on the portal

She would be a great replacement for Lauren Barnes.. and add a back row attack option while doing so... 🤔

Since we are roughly 60 days out from the 2019 season, I was curious as to the transfer impact and which schools lost the most players. I only looked at the D1 transfers out (including D1 to D2) and did not look at the Beach or the "no longer on roster" groups. I tallied a total of 187 transfers through 6/26/19. The winner (or biggest loser) was Auburn with 5 losses. Minnesota and Oregon were next with 4. The following all lost 3 players: Arizona, Clemson, Incarnate Word, Louisville, Miami-FL, Southern Utah, UNLV & Xavier. I'd venture to say that some of these programs have some leadership issues while others simply carry a very large roster and expect runoff. Taking a rough glance of the "no longer on roster" names, excluding graduated players, Incarnate Word and Louisville each had an additional 5 players for a total of 8 losses each. That seems excessive to me and curious what is happening there. Short answer: transfer portal

Kate Cowan (DS/L) has transferred from LSU to Texas, but appears to be a regular student at UT

Sydnye Fields is no longer listed on TAMU’s updated roster. I think she would’ve been a senior this year

I think it’s very unfortunate that BVS maybe wants to play beach only. The problem with her wanting to go to a contender at this late stage is that a lot of the contenders have filled the roster already and she will face tough competition for PT no matter which contender she chooses.
If she wants guarantee PT, she is going to have to settle for the non contenders.Would like to her come to Hawaii but I think she will have more impact as an indoor player than a beach one....at least immediately.
I think Hawaii beach will be solid with the incoming freshmen and the potential crossovers.
